Does that last bit of mayonnaise or peanut butter at the bottom of a jar really bother you? I usually hand the jar over to my dog and let her take care of it, but for some reason not everyone has a dog. Thats why some entrepreneurs have harnessed the technology behind deodorant sticks to eliminate this problem.

I’m a Jif Creamy user, so no worries, so far. Sunland Corp, the mfgr for Trade Joe’s and Skippy, was the culprit of the salmonella contamination. Even the Talenti Peanut Crunch Gelato, here in PA, was impacted by it, and I’d bought some for Dad and myself, but caught it in time by Lot #, to return it to the store, still sealed. Close call.

Nope, haven’t tried that one yet. I do use the glass jars left from the salsa I buy. I cook bacon in the jar; three slices with the jar laid on its side then microwave for three minutes. Put a piece of paper towel in the jar first, then lay the bacon atop the paper. I sometimes cook things in the jars (like cake in a pressure cooker) since they’re made for canning. The jars even have the measurements on the side. The brand is Wal Mart’s ‘Great Value’ label. My favorite is Lime and Garlic.

Yes! JPB framed him for posterity. His portrait should be on the wall of the post office with the *Most Wanted* criminals.
