I was disquieted to see my 2nd romaine wilt in past couple of days.
Darlin thinks it’s from the heat. It was shocked perhaps. We put it outside in the dirt faster than we did the first one. The first one had quite a bit of growth (at least 3 inches) before I planted it. The 2nd one had only one little sprig of any height (about an inch), with a couple very small sprouts also coming up which I buried when I planted it. I’ll keep watering and see if any sprigs come up.
Also still watering the non-responsive celery stump. It’s almost time to buy celery again, so I might conduct another experiment.
It’s all a Grand Experiment! LOL!
