New York. So hot right now, New York.
Today, in fact, is going to be even hotter than the past few days. The heat index — a measurement that combines temperature with humidity to represent how hot it actually feels — is expected to reach as high as 108 degrees. But when it gets this hot, not even the heat index can tell the whole story. That story can only be told through the strange happenings throughout the city, as reported on Twitter.
Suicide is never the solution.
No kidding! I live just North of Houston. Grew up a few miles West of FW. The Summer of '80 was a killer. I worked in an non air conditioned PVC pipe plant. We had 100+ temps for over 90 days in a row. That's just the way it is in Texas...

You’d think so; but, when it’s too cold out for a balaclava to help, covering your face with baklava will keep you warm. ;)

And picture in your mind five minutes away from me a gorgeous white sand beach, palm trees, sparkling aqua water with gentle white caps, azure sky, sea shells, shore birds, sailboats passing, a mai tai....and thou damn yankees beside me in this paradise.

Thermometer says just under 100 here in central Wisconsin. Its damn hot but the beer is nice and cold.
I really do not care. Burning hot where I am at. N Easterners remind me of people who always go on about their cold and flu was far worse than your cold and flu. Even though there are no facts to prove that.
