Trayvon thought he was beating a homosexual stalker and rapist!
The real problem here is that Jeantel is making new stuff up as she goes along. Maybe in some of it she is revealing bits of the truth that she didn’t testify to, but who knows at this point.
Jeantel is a liar and a story changer that is for sure.
I don’t have to be a linguistics expert to know the definition of “Creepy Ass Cracka” is not “police” or “security officer” - not without further explanation from the person using the term.
And IF Trayvon thought Zimmerman was police, that doesn’t help the prosecution. Trayvon had no good reason to either run from or to attack the police.
But then we’re supposed to just listen to Jeantel go on as if she’s a hero.
Trayvon thought Zimmerman was a gay security, short, little guy. He looked like someone Trayvon could beat to death without being beaten back, an easy target, but he didn’t anticipate the gun.
The break-in that yielded the laptop was done by two individuals. One was identified and arrested. There’s no information about the other one.
Was that other one Baby Trayvon?
Rachel lied. Crump told her to change her story about the phone conversation. Trayvon told Rachel it was a "pussy ass cracker" following him.
Pussy ass cracker is black slang for any non-white wannabe cop,security guard, or neighborhood watch volunteer.
Crump knew that if Rachel told the truth, it would be incriminating. So... he told Rachel to 'twist' the truth a little, and change it to 'creepy'. That way Crump could pursue the 'gay molester' angle as the reason for Trayvon's (made up) fear.
The term PUSSY ASS CRACKER is well known in the 'black community', while the term CREEPY ASS CRACKER is not, and was made up by Crump.

He wasn’t runnin from someone he/she believed to be a rapist.That was cover for the real reason.

He thought that the cracka was a cop or security guard — the same kinda cracka that been bustin him for truancy, marijuana possession, vandalism, possession of stolen jewelry, fighting, etc — and then he reached the point when he said “he aint runnin no mo” and then went back to put a beatdown the cracka — duh poleeese.
I don't think trayvon would have known about it. The gated community was only a place he was visiting. He was the "new kid in town" there from 200 miles away.
Mr Zimmerman's composure may have given trayvon the impression of being security... or some gay dude stalking him.
Although trayvon may have considered breaking into a home to get some cough syrup, he was more concerned about his posterior when he saw Mr Zimmerman.
How about a reality check instead of wild speculation?
Trayvon’s home of record was Miami some 200 miles to the south. That’s 3 plus hours driving time. Additionally Trayvon’s school of record, also in Miami, had recently expelled him, for the third time.
Trayvon was in Stanford because his own mother had kicked her juvenile son out of her home for constantly fighting.
All of these established facts happened a few days (weeks?) prior to Trayvon’s encounter with George Z.
So a simple question - how could a total stranger know what had happened in Stanford weeks (month’s?) prior to his arrival.
Stop trying to justify what Trayvon did. It was an act of violence because he felt he had been ‘disd by George and, unfortunately, in his subculture the violent response was totally acceptable.

For that to be true, wouldn’t it be necessary for Trayvon to know that it was specifically Zimmerman who busted the laptop thief?
But how could Trayvon know that it was Zimmerman? It was dark and drizzling.

I don’t think Traydemark knew anybody in the neighborhood.
How many times had Trayvon Martin stayed at his father’s girlfriend’s home before? How long had he been there on this visit? And the housebreakers, who seem mostly or entirely to have been black, were they residents of the complex or outsiders?
I was under the impression that this was Martin’s first visit, that he’d only been there a couple of days. It seems unlikely he would have any knowledge of Zimmerman in particular - my guess is he was simply angered by someone being suspicious of him.
The odds are pretty good. Trayvon lived 250 miles from Sanford in Miami.
