Rachel Jeantel told CNN that Trayvon thought Zimmerman was security. Rachel Jeantel Confirms To Piers Morgan That Trayvon Assumed Zimmerman Was the Police Or Security
So why would Trayvon attack someone he assumed was security? Because Zimmerman had reported two kids peering into the windows of homes. And there was a break in and police arrested one of the kids and found a stolen laptop in the kid's backpack. Zimmerman identified the kid as one of the two peering into windows.
What are the odds that Trayvon didn't know that a young black kids had just been busted for theft of a laptop? What are the odds that Trayvon didn't know that the neighborhood watch captain had helped finger the kid? What are the odds that Trayvon either knew the kid or knew the kid's older siblings?
When Trayvon walked by Zimmerman's car and locked eyes with him, he was sizing him up. Trayvon then proceeded to act suspiciously to draw Zimmerman's attention, and then got out of sight and set up the ambush. When Zimmerman got out of the car, he fell into Trayvon's trap and Trayvon attacked him.
Jeantel has said Trayvon thought Zimmerman was security. Keep questioning her until she spills the whole story.
We know Trayon had visited there several times in the past.
Shooting of Trayvon
I don't know how long he had been there this time. Or whether he'd had a chance to make friends there yet. Or whether he knew about the kid busted for the Laptop. But I bet he did.
Why else would he attack a security guard with no more provocation than the guy was watching him?
Why else would Trayvon attack someone he identified as a security guard?
And I bet Rachel Jeantel knows.
"People got the nerve to tell me why I ain't come to that funeral. I ain't put Trayvon at that funeral. I didn't put Trayvon in that casket," Jeantel said. "That's what people need to understand."
She knows more than she's telling and she might have even egged him on helping to put him at that funeral and in that casket.
A 3.0? I guess I owe that radio jock who promised Jeantel a scholarship an apology. I thought it was an insincere offer, one he’d never have to make good on.
RE: Travon attacked Zimmerman in revenge busting neighborhood laptop thief (speculation)
For that to be true, wouldn’t it be necessary for Trayvon to know that it was specifically Zimmerman who busted the laptop thief?
But how could Trayvon know that it was Zimmerman? It was dark and drizzling.
Unless Trayvon just wanted to whup ANY white cracker out there....
When the incident took place, I saw all the burglary reports on the Sanford police site. It was available to the public. When GZ was arrested, all this disappeared. I found it recently. Note the blackened info...probably juveniles.
This takes at least 1 full minute to open on my computer.

You assume Fuhrman lied. He denied another witness’s claim that he used the N word and also allegedly said that he thought all blacks should be burned in a bonfire.
Interesting theory.
Jesse Jackson is a racist.
Jeantel already has damaged any new prosecution case, because she went on tv and has given a new reason that she believes Trayvon did NOT want to run home.
Also she amplifies a reason Trayvon may have felt he could/ should assault Zimmerman.
“I never realized decimal points were used when measuring IQs.”
LOL!
He walked by his car and locked eyes with him. Don’t know whether he knew Zimmerman was the watch captain or not.
He might have been willing to attack anyone involved in the neighborhood watch.
I don’t think Traydemark knew anybody in the neighborhood.
How many times had Trayvon Martin stayed at his father’s girlfriend’s home before? How long had he been there on this visit? And the housebreakers, who seem mostly or entirely to have been black, were they residents of the complex or outsiders?
I was under the impression that this was Martin’s first visit, that he’d only been there a couple of days. It seems unlikely he would have any knowledge of Zimmerman in particular - my guess is he was simply angered by someone being suspicious of him.
“So a simple question - how could a total stranger know what had happened in Stanford weeks (months?) prior to his arrival.”
It seems simple enough that Chad might have brought given TM a run-down on local happenings, especially if related to people they knew, etc. That is offered in response to your question. I tend to support the simple explanation, that TM was tired of crackas crackin’ him everytime he lit up, and attacked GZ accordingly. In social media posts, TM had explained why he attacked some kid with “that N... snitched on me”.
According to the article I linked in post 42, he had been there several times.
“A 3.0? I guess I owe that radio jock who promised Jeantel a scholarship an apology. I thought it was an insincere offer, one hed never have to make good on.”
She was born in Florida, is 19 years old, will be a senior in high school next year, and she can’t read cursive?
Unlikely coincidence that Trayvon would be coming back from the 7-11 just when Zimmerman was going to Target. And would Trayvon have known what Zimmerman looked like?
True. I was giving him a tiny dose of "innocent till proven guilty" on his knowledge about the robbery. I don't think he knew the people in the gated community or the individual robberies which happened there. I do believe the first time he visited the area he sought out the local thugs within the hour. He's young and needs friends to hang out with and connections to his needs. Maybe he was friends with friends of the robbers. I don't think it matters at this point.
Mr Zimmerman was not wearing a uniform so trayvon could not have known who he was. I think trayvon would have attacked anyone who would have noticed him skulking. If it were Holder noticing him, he may have attacked him (holder looks gay)
As to Ms cursive, she's full of guilt. She had a hand in trayvon's death from a distance.
They have dropped cursive from the “Common Core standards” that are being pushed. I didn’t think anyplace had dropped it 10 years ago though?
I never understood the full story about the cursive. Did Jeantel claim to have written a letter in cursive, but couldn’t read it? Did she claim that someone wrote it for her?
Interesting theory.
