Why Did Zimmerman get out of the Car? (Vanity)

Excuse the vanity, but the matter of Zimmerman getting out of his vehicle has not been understood by me. Why did that occur? I have not followed the trial as closely as many have and I've never quite gotten that. Thanks in advance. Kate

I would be. Even someone here illegally has the right to defend themselves when sucker punched and attacked in the way this happened.

why take this post down? i saw the same question somewhere else and found the straight answer here - zimmerman was following tm, not sitting in his truck, when talking to the dispatcher, proven by the transcripts.
