Repeal the 17th ping!
I’m ready to match the lefty dorks.
If they yell, we’ll yell louder.
Violence? Make our day.
And if they want, it’s CW-II.
And I get to run the guillotine following our win.
The time to be nice (and civilized) is over...long over.
These creeps don’t play fair, and we aren’t going to do so any more.
Thanks for posting :)
Yes, thanks for posting this. BTTT
A major and very credible Conservative voice has given-up on fixing this through elections. THAT’S the story!
...so long as it is led from the top down by him.
As I said on the other thread on this subject - this effort will not remain a civil endeavor, nor should we expect the Ruling Class and it’s dependents to abide by any success in passage of new Amendments when they currently do not follow the current Amendments to the Constitution except when convenient.
The history of Marxists and Fascists in high office leaves no room for ambiguity - we need to understand and gird ourselves for the fact that such tyrants NEVER leave power without enacting and perpetrating violence, bloodshed and acts of abject subjugation and murder in order to hold onto their power.
They will charge us with terrorism, treason, rebellion, racism, homophobia and every other justification their kangaroo courts and lackeys will attempt to charge and enforce penalty upon us.
The good news is that Levin’s Liberty Documents may provide us a CAUSE to rally and unify behind rather than the balkanized factionalism the Conservative movement currently finds itself in.
If the cause is single purposed and we do not deviate from the goal and contests before us - it is possible that we might be able to hold onto what liberty we have left.
I find no instance in all world history where a people who lost their liberties, ever regained them in their lifetimes, except perhaps our Founders - who simply sought to restore the Sovereign that they determined was robbed from them.
If we want to keep our rights, we will have to fight for them and we must not delude ourselves into believing that such a contest will remain civil or merely fought in the arena of the courtroom.

A well-stated and cogent analysis.
This issue should also be used to start weeding out conservative media personalities that have been using us to just get rich and waste their influence for practically useless stunts.
This is something of substance to get behind with real results.
Just about my two least favorite words are:
“We’ll see”.
Thank you for the thread Jacquerie, and OWS, thought you might find this of interest.
May God guide and strengthen us.

So, knowing this and Marks past activism,What activizm and where did that get us?
perhaps Im not going too far out a limb to wonder if he has not coordinated his full frontal assault with other talk show hosts, such as good friends Rush and Hannity. Would Palin be aboard? I think so. Jim DeMint of The Heritage Foundation? All of them PLUS FreeRepublic were around both times Obama was elected. They are all still around and yet things continue to get rapidly worse. The negativity towards Palin on this forum alone should tell you something about any members getting on board with another group with a pretty title.
I'm with Rush the Mayor of Realville.
Levin is a screeching doofus.
Thanks for posting. I LOVE having a voice of (real) hope among the “freeper defeatists”. There are lots of those - hard not to be defeatist with the daily downers of new ways the leftists are destroying our wonderful country. This idea truly could be the spark that sets off some new fires of patriotism and action to rebuild our country.
I can’t wait to see the book, and hope he even has an order of priority, as to what amendments we should try to go for first. It seems that if you can just shift a few foundation stones, the whole edifice of communist oppression might just come tumbling down. (Just like they’ve destroyed some of our conservative foundations by destroying marriage and the family, installing income tax so many women must work and cant raise civilized kids, changing the way Senators are elected so they are more susceptible to big money influence, etc.) We need a plan and an order to go about this, and need to make sure we are all working towards the same goals.
Anyone know when his book is supposed to come out?
Let's try to alter the make-up of Congress by adding new states to the Union.
If we split California into two states, one that contains Los Angeles and San Francisco, and another that contains everything else, we can add two more Republican Senators to Congress.
If we split Texas into two states, we can add another two Republican Senators to Congress.
We might even try splitting Florida into two states, possibly adding two more Republican Senators, although Florida is slowly turning purple.
Currently, Republicans have 46 out of 100 seats, or 46% of the votes. Adding two Senators for California2 and two Senators for Texas2 yields 50 out of 104 seats, or 48% of the vote. If we throw in a secure Florida2 as well, it becomes 52 out of 106 seats, or 49% of the vote.
After this, we can look to increasing the cap of 435 representatives in the House, too.
There are just too many people these days to be represented by a body whose capacity was fixed in 1911, when the national population was 92 million people. The population is now 310 million people. We need more members in the House to keep up with the growth in population over the last 100 years.

Thank you for posting that summary for us, I was only able to listen to a short portion of last evening’s show.
I do hold one caution however. Mark says “impossible” for the state's convention to make wholesale changes and I agree that the Constitution’s wording clearly makes that structural confinement. However, the original constitutional convention convened under the Articles of Confederation was not envisioned to have the power to do what they did at the time and they did it anyway.
History and not structural confines must be our guide and we need to go into this with our eyes wide open as to the possibilities and have an arsenal of forces prepared in these conventions if that is the route chose.
A powerful centralized government works out well for many powerful groups that despise states rights and the republic. It is one stop shopping for lobbyists, corporations, gloBULLists and the mainstream media. It is a real pain for them to cover 50 bases when all the real power is in on convenient place the District of Corruption, 2 places if you count New York and finances (which has become a side show anyway). This is what we are up against, fellow anti-federalists.
The people are the source of reform, but remember that the elites are part of the people. How do you get them to support liberty?
