If you're not diabetic now, start eating dark greens, collars, turnip greens, mustard greens, cabbage, broccoli, brussel sprouts, etc.
Study micronutrients.
What these videos:
I am NOT recommending you to become a vegetarian, because meat will become your primary source of food.
But you need to pick your vegetables carefully, so they will help you the most.
