Ah, the n00B speaks! I feel...well, not flattered, actually. But I’d like to know your game, nooB. How about it? Will you stay or run? And where to? It is, as you have managed to bleat, your thread. Well?

To: Wpin
Yes, family is the number one reason we stay here.

To: Billthedrill

You don’t have a game, n00b. And the one you’re developing isn’t very impressive. Why did you join FR?

If America goes, then every nation will be a giant ball of sh*t.
All the same, pick one where you're most comfortable with the culture. 'Ta bom?

I’ll go down swinging here, thanks.
Also, when you say ‘you’re country, it should be
‘your country’. Thanks.

"Ah, I've always wanted to visit Chile!" On the rise, and lots of freedom. Many compare it to America in the 1950s. "How's Brazil? (I see it's not on the list.)" Friendliest people around. Many places have high crime. Look into the high tech area of
Florianopolis... There is the issue of learning some Portuguese... Anywhere you plan to move, visit and then try living there for at least 6 months before you make big commitments. In fact, I suggest you visit several places so you can compare. There are expats everywhere and you can find groups online.

I keep hearing Costa Rica is good, anyone? I went to Panama last year and will be going back later this year. I prefer it to Costa Rica because their economy is more diverse. Panama has the canal and is a big banking hub. Costa Rica is more dependent on tourism. However, both countries have great health care.
I'm not sure about the residency requirements in Costa Rica, but Panama makes it very easy. The toughest part is establishing bank accounts. You will need recommendations from your banks in the USSA and it takes time.
A good resource to start with is the magazine "International Living".

Thanx. Next trip will be around the horn BA to Santiago.
CR has been on my list and the canal, but I’m getting old.
