Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin turned to Facebook once again to express outrage at the reports of a 25 yr. Army veteran being punished for reading books by conservative authors Mark Levin and David Limbaugh.
Palin had a simple message for those in uniform: We have your back.
Calling it a a battle between liberty and tyranny, a play on the title of Levins latest book, Palin said she would love to see folks reading more writings from patriots who pinpoint who is trying to kill our Constitution.
In somewhat of a call-to-action, Palin added:
Id love to see pictures of our troops reading any of these apparently banned pro-America books. Dont show your face or name in the photo, perhaps just your liberty-loving hands around a liberty-loving book or hands on a radio dial tuning in to hear the aforementioned conservative leaders speak truth.
Her remarks in full, as posted on her Facebook page:
Whether you agree or disagree with this soldiers opinions, I think we can all agree that the apparent retribution he faced for proudly reading certain authors is outrageous.
Id love to see more of Americas finest, our men and women in uniform, along with everybody else proudly and boldly reading more writings from patriots who pinpoint who is trying to kill our Constitution. Americans obviously need to know why its imperative we dont roll over and succumb to these attempts to fundamentally transform America into a populace of sheep merely grazing, and then atrophying, under tyranny. This IS a battle between liberty and tyranny, as the title of Mark Levins book declares. The authors and commentators mentioned in the article linked below will help more of our loved ones understand this by articulately explaining what the radical Lefts leadership is doing to our country.
Yes, if more citizens would hear and read Rush, The Great One, et al., the empowerment of the average person would provide the energy and encouragement to take a stand and proclaim, No more! Its time. Troops especially you have fought for the freedoms enshrined in our Constitution. Your brothers and sisters have died in this battle to defend liberty. Please know that a grateful nation wont let your sacrifices be in vain. We have your back.
Id love to see pictures of our troops reading any of these apparently banned pro-America books. Dont show your face or name in the photo, perhaps just your liberty-loving hands around a liberty-loving book or hands on a radio dial tuning in to hear the aforementioned conservative leaders speak truth. What is the use in fighting and dying for freedom in far away countries if they take away freedom at home? Post a pic.

That was from a superior officer! sorry about the confusion but really the is a loser in my book! Just rockin the boat!
“....but really the is a loser in my book!....”

The what is a loser in your book?
Wanna bet me on that?
The idea that a book you are reading would desecrate the uniform is beyond fantasy. I was in uniform in countries all around Europe. I have pictures of my best friend, in uniform putting his hand on the breast of the Den lille havfrue in Copenhagen. And, other photos of friends (in uniform) wasted and up to their waste in Trevi Fountain. There was many of times a shipmate was so drunk we had to carry them back to ship. I saw one shipmate in uniform on his back giving Deutsche Marks in his teeth to a stripper with a boa around her neck. Were they desecrating the uniform? In the land of reality, there is no such thing as desecrating the uniform. The only thing that happened to our uniform was the vomit we spewed over it (which is what I think should happen to rules made by self-righteous control freaks).
I weighed right at 100 lbs when I went in... had to get a waiver from some higher-up to go in though, underweight. Boot camp took care of that.. was 130 when I left boot camp.. and none of it was fat ;)
That pic is hilarious.
I love Sarah Palin, always will.
She is the best!
That was about eight years ago. Today they'd take me out behind the maintenance bay and hang me!
What you you think of a soldier reading the Communist Manefesto in Uniform at the bus stop?
I would commend the young warrior for practicing Sun Tzu’s principle of “Know your enemy and know yourself.”
I was troubled by that years ago when I first saw it, and still troubled NOBODY in the MSM thinks anything is wrong. Not even questioned about it.
perfect response.
