Former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Bristol Palin is heading back to reality TV. She'll switch places with Joan Rivers on "Celebrity Wife Swap." The 22-year-old single mom and her sister Willow Palin are the latest stars to sign up for the trading-places series. And this time, they're doing double duty as the daughters of Sarah Palin head to Los Angeles to switch lives with comedian Rivers and her daughter Melissa.

Yeah, I want to watch it too.
Sometimes it’s just nice to be fun.
Dang people!
Usually they are alcoholics
I keep trying to like Bristol. I know she is a Conservative and Pro-lifer, etc. But, I think she, and now her sister, takes advantage of her Mom’s celebrity, and they make the whole family look trashy. Showing class is more important than making money - even if some program producer waves a lot of it in your face. Plus, they complain that “people will say bad things anyway, so why not do what you want?” Yet...because they keep doing stupid stuff, they continue to fan the flames of criticism. I wish they would just bow out of the public eye, live a quiet life, grow up, get real jobs and finish their education, and then...maybe when they are mature...they can come back with some wisdom and common sense.
Joan Rivers is a profane, hate-filled old broad...... toxic in the truest sense of that overused word. I can’t defend Bristol’s decision to link herself with that witch.
Yes, she’s young, but at 22, it’s time to start maturing a bit and using more common sense.
Have a gut feeling this could prove a winning move by Bristol and Willow :-)
What are they going to win?
I’d love to see breakdown of male/female viewership for ‘celebrity wife swap.’ Who the hell is watching this type of thing? I mean come on already.
Freegards
LOLOL.. Oh Yeah! )
I haven’t seen the daughters look trashy, from what I have seen it has all been pretty good and not “stupid stuff”.
The pattern is that a show or book is mentioned, the people that hate the Palins go into a feeding frenzy on how this is the last trashy straw of a low class family (lacking the innate class and dignity of the Kennedys, Clintons, and Carters, for instance)and then the finished product is just fine and it serves to help Bristol get her conservative message out and to help her support herself and her son.
Bristol has “real jobs” a New York Times bestseller, a consulting firm, Hollywood, paid national spokeswoman for life and abstinence, she does well for someone just turned 22 years of age.
Bristol seems to have much of the power and inner strength of her mother, she isn’t suited to make coffee and be a Dentist’s receptionist back in Anchorage.
Some folks just have an obsession with being in the spotlight. Young Palin needs to be more discriminating IMO.
Bristol uses platforms that reach the audience that her causes are most intended to reach, females, audiences that are never exposed to conservatives.
Wife Swap is the second most liberal show on TV according to 2011 numbers, Celebrity Apprentice was THE most liberal, I want Bristol on there, just as I liked her appearance on DWTS and it's demographics.
I don't agree with these kinds of manipulating reality shows, so I won't watch. I can't stand Joan Rivers. How anyone thinks her foul mouth is funny, I'm clueless.
But you know what? If these shows are going to pay Bristol for this idiocy, she probably should take the money while she can.
Well said.
Sorry to admit it. But you are right.
It will help them win supporters as opposed to haters
Bristol and her sister “head to Los Angeles to switch lives with comedian Rivers and her daughter Melissa”?

My goodness, the obnoxious and not very funny Joan Rivers and her daughter could be out of a job—replaced by the likeable Palin sisters. But only in a reasonable and decent world, which is not the one we’re in at this moment in time.
“Whoring” for money? Seems to me she’s appearing on a television show for wages, which, where I come from, is a job. She’s supporting herself and her child. She’s not a prostitute, escort, masseuse or stripper, she’s on a TV show.
More discriminating? What does that mean in regards to Bristol Palin and a TV appearance, she hasn’t done anything wrong yet, and how did you conclude that she has an obsession with the limelight?
Guess which does not belong?
1. Family Values
2. Wife Swapping
3. Conservatism
Bristol will take family values to the show, just as she has to every other show that she has been on.
Your whoring around denigrating the pro-life activist in the name of conservatism or family values is the contradiction.
Joan Rivers has said she’s a Republican. (Wikipedia quotes a 2002 story from a Canadian newspaper.)
