The Scout leader with the key is out of town. And with that, I’m outtahere.
"Don't blow all your pay driving your friends around and going to rock concerts."
As am I... Bed is looking very good to me at this moment...
Off to the side and down.
Time for Friday night at the Netflix movies.
Will return later with the reviews.
Reboot, F8...
Or, shift-F8...
Yay for son #2!
Wow! How long have you been doing this? (If this is considered rude, please ignore and forgive!)
Um... First computer i worked on was an Apple 2. Had an Atari 800xl when i was in high school. 900 baud cradle modem.
Professionally, since about ‘96.
If I were in your shoes, I’d be very proud of myself! Kudos!
Thank you!
If I were in his shoes, I'd have a lot more wriggle-room for my toes.
You know, they say never criticize a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes. It's very practical advice, because by the time you start criticizing him, you're a mile away, and you have his shoes.
I heard that somewhere.
DC is the go-to person if you have to do any computer work on your own. We’ve pretty much figured that out since 2004. Some of us before that, I’m sure.
But don’t take advantage of him...he’s our National Treasure... ;o]
My first computer was a Commodore PET, 1977. That’s 4K of memory. Fun little thing. Loaded programs from cassette tapes. I used it
when I worked at Xerox’s Palo Alto Research Center, playing a small part in developing the single-side electrographic writing head for
their copiers. The engineers tapped out the PET, and PARC added another 5K of memory for $500.
I know... Jaw-dropping. You can get a Seagate (I knew those guys back then) 320 gig drive for $50 these days. Not to forget Teradyne.
We had an Apple II Plus (48K) at home. We have had personal computers at home ever since.
You’re welcome. I hope it helps you to decide whether you want to watch them.
“Direct Action” was just released by Netflix. We were wondering why we had already seen all the movies in the previews until we saw that it was from 2004. Dolph Lundgren looking ten years younger should have been a little hint about the movie’s age, LOL!
“Phantom” was a really good one. It depicts the Russians as actually being human and decent, but having their bad apples just like any other political bloc or country.
[giggles] I’ll stop reviewing now... !!
Good morning, y'all! Wonder when T-c will return from scout sleepaway.... Slings posted a Rush Limbaugh kitteh thread, but it's weird not to see T-c's morning kitteh. Something not right in the universe--disruption of time-space continuum.
Dolph Lundgren playing a good guy? He’s convincing playing the bad guy. It’s fun to watch actors practicing their craft. (I can’t act, so I appreciate the art.)
