Funny Interview with Father of 22 Children by 14 Women The local CBS affiliate in Nashville interviewed 33-year old Orlando Shaw outside the Metro Courthouse where he had been taken to court by the 14 mothers of his 22 children for tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid child support. The state of Tennessee pays $7,000 each month in assistance to support all of Shaw's children, but he's very "proud of them."

I didn't read it that way. I read it as the state pays 7 grand total for all of the kids. That's 7,000/22 = 318/mo per kid.

Went to restaurants all the time with a buddy (RIP) in the late 1990’s. We met lots and lots of young ladies. Most, if not close to all, were suckers for stuff like this.
We’d listen to the stories and then be totally amazed afterwards. And it would all turn out pretty much as we expected. It’s a whole ‘nother world out there. The average person not from the recent past has no idea.

My dad taught me different. He was very strict and I thank him EVERY day for that structure in my life. He passed away so long ago but to me, he'll always be my first hero.
