Green Acres

I always thought that show deserved a lot of praise for the country style theater of the absurd writing. A pig with a paper route and remember the High-Handed Act of 1912?

10. The West Wing - A terrible show.

Were they the episodes written by cokehead Aaron Sorkin, or the later ones written by Liar O'Donnell?

#1 is The Andy Griffith Show

If you want to learn how write comedy, watch all the shows.

If you want to learn how to deliver comedy, watch all the shows.

Questions on timing? Watch all the shows.

If you want to learn how to put people on the floor by simply remaining silent, watch all the shows.

It is a very compleat education for a writer.

Forgot about B5, yeah I would put it above DS9, especially the middle seasons of B5.

"Look out, he's got a nug!"

LOL, well, as soon as I figure out what that is, I'll be on the lookout for it. Thanks for the heads-up.

They put Columbo and Rockford Files below The Office?

Are they insane?

Columbo and the Rockford Files where brilliantly written and acted by Falk and Garner.

The Office was dire and Ricky Gervais is his own greatest fan, the bloke’s an absolute d!ck

I love Columbo but Rockford Files was always well written and definitely bump it up to top 10.

Frasier, and Monk!!

I hate to admit it, but I have never seen Monk. I have seen some of the previews and loved what I saw, but for some weird reason I never saw the show. Must have been on during one of my favs.

Fringe was a far better show with superior writing and acting.

I totally agree...

Jim Noble as Dr. Walter Bishop is a brilliant actor..

I loved the tagline Nick at Nite used to promote the show when it was running on that network: “It’s not stupid; it’s surreal.”
