THE SAME IS TRUE OF DRINKING FROM JESUS. WE MUST NOT DROWN OR FLOOD OUR SYSTEM WITH TOO NUCH TOO SOON. A STEADY SYSTEM OF REGULATE DRINKING OF HIS WORD IS THE WAY TO SPEND TIME WITH HIM. GROWING AND MATURING DAY BY DAY,

I know I’ll be dating myself, here, but I remember when I would walk a mile to the movie theater (no adult accompaniment), and give a dime to the lady behind the window. I would go into the theater, and watch news reels (that lasted forever), and then all the previews for coming shows before the show would even start. LOL
I remember when the price rose to 12 cents..outrageous..LOL
Saturday afternoon was movie time for us.
Yep. Saturday afternoon - and popcorn was a nickel, if I remember correctly. (in a LARGE container!)

The last time I went to the movies my son and DIL took me..By the time we bought treats ..it cost a small fortune.

AW..Thanks, Rus. Are you still a bachelor or is family home..I’ve enjoyed a week with my niece here.
Everyone is home, a bit sick from drinking the water down there. Tons of pictures to get out of their phones. They had a fun trip and some of the areas are beautiful.
So happy they had fun and enjoyed some beautiful sights..

Slowly getting better. It may be something else too, I started feeling a little the same way so it may not be the trip.. Dunno.
I’m just now climbing aboard Amy’s and now all I can think of are the wings. I’ll have to wait ‘cause I just don’t feel like getting out and running to the store. I am worn out and don’t know why as I’ve done very little today. You would agree if you looked at this house. Just had the “can’t help its” today, I guess. You know how that goes sometimes...just don’t wanna do anything.
Been watching the t.v. for a while concerning that plane crash....how awful. Hope you’ve had a good day!
I’ll check out those wings when I go to the store next time. It won’t be long until I need something and I won’t forget the wings, no way.

I’m glad to know Walmart has the wings, too! I have a Walmart fairly close by, I just don’t go as much as I once did. (must be getting older)!! I ride one of those little carts when I go now. Those stores are huge and if you’re able, the exercise is so good for us. I can’t walk those distances as good as I once could. (its depressing, too.) But I’m thankful for what I can do. There are people in much worse shape.
My neighbor just knocked on the door with a big bowl of ice cream smothered with fresh strawberries. I am too full for them right now so I stuck it in the fridge a few minutes. If I can’t eat them in a little while, I’ll have to put in the freezer side.
