:o)
You’re most welcome, ML
Posting pretty butterflies is lots more fun than doing chores.
Amen to that! ;-)
I certainly seem to think so! LOL
It’s a lot more fun, too.
(((HUGS)))
Exactly!
I have 3 of my daughter’s rescued kitties..She has 6 rescues..I have had to capture and release to the outside bugs and spiders at her house..NO squashings allowed.
Needless to say..she will not allow nests to be disturbed.
MAYBE if swallows got in the garage she would relent..LOL
How 'bout FLUSHING?
Yesterday, my pup caught a scorpion, yelped, flipped it out of her mouth, and then went after it again, before I could get to her! TWO scorpion bites in her little mouth!
I called the vet who ordered Benedryl and she slept for a couple hours. Poor little thing!
The scorpion got FLUSHED alive, (And I don't feel a bit guilty!)
What a special surprise that must have been for your bride-to-be, Diver Dave! I’m glad the Bounty was for happy drying! (And memories that brought a sweet smile!)
Hi, JC! Thank you for the kind words. I think we all could use a few ‘happy’ tears, these days!
Poor pup..Hate scorpians..I would flush or squash..
Besides, our eyes need washing out with salt water anyway, don’t you agree??
Yes, happy tears are good for us. Even unhappy tears are good if you need to get something out of your system .....just wash our cares away!
I have to run a couple of errands and hope it’ll be quick and easy. Its a little rainy and dreary here today but may clear up!
Very purdy!!!
The many translations disturb me. Too many read quite differently. NIV, (New International version), (New Scofield Study Bible), HCSB (Holman Christian, Standard Bible), The Living Bible, ESV (English Standard Version, KJV ,(King James Version) which is my favorite, The Amplified Bible, the New King James Version, and more.
I find these versions read rather differently. It seems confusing rather than clarifying. And then the “Torah” which is the Jewish translation of the first five books of Moses, Jesus Christ was a Jew and lived and kept the LAW perfectly. ... And the writings of the Apostles and Jesus words written by Paul ...
Understandably the basis for all the denominations of Christian Churches is based on differences in understanding of these translations.
Each Church or faith claim truth. And of course the Catholic Church and its differences.
This is not written to inspire debate. Rather something to contemplate individually. Thank the LORD! Praise the LORD, Teach us O LORD thy TRUTH, Thanks, praise, worship, and faith, in Jesus name, amen
Baseball Hall-of-Fame catcher Gary Carter was a follower of Jesus. During his 19-year career, he drew strength and endurance from his faith in God to compete day after day. In an article that appeared in the Wall Street Journal shortly after Carter died of
In the late 1980s, Klavan had sunk to a low point in his life. His mind dwelt on suicide. Then he heard Carter interviewed after a game. His team, the New York Mets, had won, and the aging catcher had helped by running hard at a critical point in the game. Carter was asked how he could do that with his aching knees. Klavan heard him say something like this: Sometimes you just have to play in pain. That simple statement helped draw Klavan out of his depression. I can do that! he declared. Encouraged, he found hopeand later became a believer in Christ.
The comforting truth behind Carters statement comes from Lamentations. We may face sorrow, pain, and hardship, but we dont have to sink into self-pity. The same God who allows our suffering also showers us with His compassion (Lam. 3:32). With Gods love lifting us up, we canif we have toplay in pain.
