A science blogger with a keen sense of vision claims to have spotted a lizard meandering around Mars.
The unknown spotter is from Japan and alerted the website, UFO Sightings Daily, of the unusual sight.
The rather unbelievable and completely unsubstantiated claim has caused some excitable conspiracy theorists to fear that the NASA could be planting life on the planet for scientific testing.

Could this perhaps be why His imperiousness was unavailable to approve a rescue on 09/11/12?

Or the rover is actually in the desert in Arizona?
Or more probably the Japanese UFO watcher was just making it up

    It's a rock.

'With water existing on Mars in small amounts, its possible to find such desert animals wandering around...although very rare mind you.'

No, it's impossible. There is no food or oxygen or liquid water on Mars. The air pressure is only 1% Earth atmospheric.

Pareidolia (/pærɨˈdoʊliə/ parr-i-doh-lee-ə) is a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant, a form of apophenia. Common examples include seeing images of animals or faces in clouds, the man in the moon or the Moon rabbit, and hearing hidden messages on records when played in reverse.

Well - All that jet propulsion stuff has to go somewhere when he’s not flying.

“Yeah, a lizard that lives in a 200 degree temperature swing, on a daily basis.
Sure.”
It’s a really tough lizard.

Well, to be fair, it does look somewhat like a reptillian quadruped lying there dead. I guess the GEICO gecko is fleeing the scene of the crime, or is he merely high-stepping because those rocks are hot, lol?

I messed up, I meant to post my ‘shop’ #18 to you. Your post made me think of that.
