Steve Martin had a routine where he said a thought occurred to him as he was spray painting his name on Notre Dame in Paris.
I don’t remember what the thought was — but I remember laughing at the painting his name part.

“In an interview with a Nanjing newspaper, Ding’s father said “the child has committed a mistake and the main responsibility falls on the adults. It was because we did not supervise him well, and have not taught him well.”
That’s an honest reply.

The only thing we should have been oputsourcing to China these last 12 years should have been the war on terror...
The Chinese don’t have Political Correctness to hinder them.
They don’t screw around...

Honest, yes, but far too many Chinese offspring come from single-child families that dote on the little princes and princesses. My cousin’s family in Shanghai is banned from visiting us because his “little emperor” is such a spoiled brat.

I can appreciate that. Saw a case of the pampered son here - the one who gambled, got DUIs and whatnot. My wife worked at a Chinese restaurant and this was the owner’s son. One day I had to go in there, pound on the table and threaten bodily harm. I’m not very big but I can come across like a scrappy Terrier dog when need arises.
My Thai in-laws are somewhat better. Fortunately only one nephew still lives with us.
