Model and actress Angie Everhart, 43, has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and will undergo surgery Tuesday, her rep confirmed today to ABCNews.com.
“Word has been trickling out about supermodel/actress Angie Everhart’s health,” her rep said in a statement. “She wants to set the record straight by letting everyone know that it is true that she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer; however, the prognosis is very good.” …

Thiis is a really bad thing to happen to a person whose claim to fame is her body appearance. I hate to welcome her to the Thyroid Elevator Ride. It’s a life long trip. Hope she has really good endocrinologists and a caring primary care doctor.
