I need some prayers and good thoughts since my mother was just diagnosed with breast cancer and we are just beginning to fight it. She goes for a PET scan tomorrow and also to an oncologist to get meds to shrink the cancer. She also has a good doctor, some friends and acquaintances have the same one and many women have kicked it with her help plus the doctors say, "don't worry, we have many ways to fight it." Many thanks to all.
There are also a lot of healthy (wholistic) ways to fight cancer.
Prayers for your mom and for your family as you support her in this ordeal.

Thanking you that all things work toward the good to those called according to your purpose...for this we entrust them to you fully at this time ...with complete confidence your will will be done in all areas known, and unknown, in the outcome.
Grant them all they might need within and without to walk this walk...and with the heart and mind and inner assurance that you are fully aware of each place they walk and are already ahead of them....meet them where they need to see your hand work, and when there is uncertainty give them faith to stay the course.
Thank you for the answers you have already revealed and those yet to come.....

Thanks all! She is home, does have some effects from the chemo but that is to be expected. I do the cooking, I’m more worried about my cooking than the disease. B-) Anyhoo, she should get her next chemo this week or next, she had it on last Saturday, the procedure is getting a dose every two or three weeks. I think they are also considering hormone therapy to shrink it as well. She is watching NASCAR now and I’ll join her soon after I hit the shower. BTW, we like to watch some of those Z-Grade horror movies every Saturday on Svengoolie on MeTV, a few weeks ago, we say “The Deadly Mantis” from 1957 where the Air Force fights a huge Praying Mantis flying from the North Pole to the U.S. I just asked for the heck of it, “what do you think Obongo would do if a huge Mantis would attack the U.S?” She said, “I can see him trying to ride it.” B-D
