uhm... i guess i created an account MAYBE ten minutes ago, and its saying my account is too new to do anything... do i need to register anything? i already registered my email, so do i need to do anything else? am i missing something?

New signups will have their posts approved by moderators for a length of time. Eventually, if you don't end up being some liberal nitwit or a retread, your posting status will be changed so that your posts will not have to be pre-approved.
At that time, you will be allowed to use FReepmail and edit your profile pages. Some new signups in the past abused those features so new posters now have to pass the probationary period first before accessing those features.
So if you are a good conservative poster, you should have no problem. If you are not, well...
