There was a thread about conspiracy theories pulled and I wrote this and didn’t want to waste it. I wonder what conspiracy caused the thread to be pulled? Hmmm..
Every good lie contains some truth. Like wise every good conspiracy theory contains some truth. There is a conspiracy to spread conspiracy theories. If there are enough conspiracy theories out the you can hide a true conspiracy amongst them. By tainting the truth with lies enough you can make it hard to tell the truth from a lie. So when the truth is revealed about what the government is up to it will confused with all the half truths claimed in conspiracy theorist. This way the government can do what all the conspiracy theorist claim they are doing because their claims of conspiracy are tainted with falsifiable information. People can see that some of their fact are wrong and the government is counting on other people discounting the whole conspiracy theory as false.
All you need to do to start a good conspiracy theory is to start with some truth and add a lie that some groups what to believe. The best sconce is evidence that the government is covering up. Even if it doesn’t exist the better. Then when the government says it does,t exist that makes it fact for many groups.
In short If you you start enough crazy conspiracy theories you can hide the true conspiracy amongst them.
This brings to mind Michael Medved. If my theory about using crazy conspiracy theories to hid real conspiracies is true. Then by using his show to let callers share their mostly very crazy conspiracy theories, then this must mean Michel Medved is try to hid a real conspiracy.

Excellent observation. Only a free exchange of ideas cast the sunlight needed to sort out the truth. I take with a grain of salt most of what I read, however there may be truth in that grain of salt. This is the power of the first amendment. Although it becomes a real slog and a great deal of discipline to weed the garden, sorry I’m in a metaphorical mode tonight.
