The smart dust copies the mind into a quantum computer core which when powered up acts as a seperate entity distinct from the original.

Sometimes there is a feeling of ‘wrongness’ to it, and it recalls being a biological.

Your better off with a proper oil lamp for regular use.

Well, I prefer gold as well, but there is no way I can afford it. I like the way it doesn’t tarnish, and I like the soft way it shines. But when I’ve had it in the Good Times, I’ve had to sell it in the Bad Times.
So I like copper and silver.
