I shall henceforth avoid even flying over Mpfs. It is a boil on the armpit of TN. I would have said “a pain in the neck,” but my opinion is actually a lot lower. ;o]
My A/C was on when I got home, so I guess summer has hit Vegas. :o])
I am skipping the wine tonight and moving straight to apple brandy.
Mr. Sg sank the corn, beans and squash into the garden today. One of our neighbors was having pressure-washer problems and brought the machine over for Mr. Sg to repair. Too late did we find out that this gentleman had no squash plants in his garden. However, he does know the minister who carted off the plantlings, so he'll probably contact him. Mr. Sg completed the repair. Another good day!
I took some photos of some pretty mountains while I was “sight-seeing.” Tomorrow, they will all be on photobucket, and I will share.
I’m sorry about the Trudeau pox. At least we don’t have to worry about another four years of Zero. We just have to worry about who is going to carry the Torch for America...
I’ve never had apple brandy. It sounds very good!
I would like to try some apple brandy...where can I get some? Does we like it? Is it eatable?
And I’ll drink to that with whatever I have at the moment!
Hi, You! How are things with you and yours?
If you can swallow, you can eat it.
But keep in mind that a little goes a long way. That first swallow should tell you that!
I am, by odd coincidence, drinking a beer. The situation called for it. By name. Aloud.
This is the kind I am fond of.
Things are going. A bit hectic lately. Trying to get the house in shape to sell so we can join the great Bear Family Migration.
I’ve had apple brandy. At my homeplace in Misssouri, it’s only the list of beverages known as “cough medicine.”
Your description of Trudeau fils could apply to some young Bush-type guys. George W. was better than his father, imo, but the rest of them should go get a real job!
Usually.
And after a couple of glasses you start not minding the cough that much.
Sedatives ease your cough, if you take enough.
I think the cough issues had to do with my grandmother’s not having cleaned since the 1970s, but ... whatever. Cough medicine was for sale in the package store in Macon.
I could make anything go a long way -— away. Today, at least. I’m still working on trying to unlax (as my brothers called it) so I’m here, sounding stupid.
I think I need to drink something more so I can only sound drunk instead of stupid. Er...
I will check at the local “cough syrup store” when my wallet is a little fatter. Right now, I have to settle for Arbor Mist. *kof-kof*
Never heard of it. But while I was in Tejas, I developed a taste for a cinnamon Schnapps named “Hot Damn.” Smooth!!!
Ohman. Did all my peeps leave me? Just when I needed some home comfort? *sigh*
*crickets*
Try deep breaths. Try searching Youtube for “ForestryProf” and watching his forestry lectures, and the Soil Orders Song. Trees are neat, really. And soil, uh’huh.
I’d DarksFax you some Scotch, if I could, but we don’t have enough amperage in our average suburban electrical grid.
I'm about to. Tomorrow is another month.
"Mischief managed."
I don't like what they call "dry" and I call "sour" wines.
Welp.
I surfed facebook because the nieces and nephews are there, but I have to access so doggone many pages...prolific bunch, my family is.
Ann went to her grave with a LARGE legacy. It will grow exponentially in the next few years, and I won’t know anyone.
The night of the viewing (Friday) we went to the youngest boy’s house, and I was finally able to get a DRINK. I wish I had had a flask, because I sure needed it the next day.
Still, they know more about me now, and I think I will hear from more of them in the future. It’s all good!
*slurp*
*glup*
*aaaaahhh*
