There are a lot of lousy musicians that are a lot more popular than they deserve, but in you opinion, who are the three most over rated musicians (or groups) of all time?

The Beatles - nothing but a Boy Band that turned into acid heads and played songs like “Yellow Submarine”
Bruce Springsteen - his early stuff like “Rosalita” & “Born to Run” are good songs, but he turned into a depressing, boring, disaffected leftie.

True, they did usually put at least some of their own spin on things, but it really annoys me that they tried to take credit for the songs. That’s low class.

Yeah I couldn’t stand the doors’ sound. I think Barry White’s music is good for what it is but I do think he’s overrated. I mean, apparently his voice/music is seen as a guarantee of getting one in the mood which I just don’t really see.

Dude, the Eagles had like, one of the best tunes with Hotel California. Its a classic. But then they also sang Dust in the wind right? Depressing as hell but ah the pitch and harmony. What else did they turn out? Im drawing a blank. Hotel California was an Eagles song. Eagle Don Felder wrote the music for it. "Dust in the wind" I'm 100% sure is Kansas and Kerry Livgren wrote it. The Violin in Dust in the wind is played by a band member who was a concert violinist. As I understand it Livgren wrote the tune simply as a warm up song for his practicing then later added the words.
Livgren and the Bass player in Kansas became Christians and left the band shortly after. The Bass player is now a Monk I think or a Priest and Livgren focuses on Christian rock. Livgren also wrote Kansas hit "Carry on my wayward son".

From what I gather about Tiny Tim he could play and sing. But acting as Tiny Tim paid more.

I still say say Mark Farner sucks.
I would also like to add Donovan (They call me mellow yellow) Leitch.
