Greetings fellow patriots! Houston we have a problem! A big one. I'm located in South Louisina 337. On February 28 a white SUV pulled up to the house with red DHS lettering with Texas plates. (Texas WTH i thought y'all were with us) I saw them pull in the drive an met them outside at their truck 2 agents late 40s-50s. They say Hi we are here doing a survey. One agent pulls out 3 volumes (looked like phone books almost sizewise) He ruffles through the pages in first then second volume. He finds my list (The 1 that they don't have). he says so we are doing a survey and we are going around visiting everyone and trying to verify if you own or still have these firearms. He proceeds to show me my list. Every gun i bought from a dealer is on this list. Every one from 22s to Mosin Nagants and everything in between. I was blown away and still am. Many bricks have been shat since then! I told them nah i don't have any of those dangerous baby killers gave them all away after Newtown. They left but sat parked down the road for a couple hours. Probably coordinating drone strike. I have ony told a couple of close friends i trust. I've been tryng to keep it together. The first person i told also had a visit exactly 2 weeks before me. He ordered a questionable part off the net an that's what the agents told him they were after. He lives 5 minutes down the road. I was freaked then but I didn't think anything of it you know he brought it on himself. Until i got a visit. All my stuff is legal and above board. No worries on that part. But then why did i recieve a visit? I don't know i've been gripped with fear since. Keeping watch on my porch, almost sleeping outside some nights. And then yesterday my wife's friends parents who are an hour north of us got a visit. Only the mom was home and she told them to hit the street. These people are farmers and have guns but mostly Fudd guns and relics passed down. The father was going somewhere on business this weekend and next week. He cancelled. Even the Fudds aren't safe from this. My only solace in all of this is the 3 massive volumes the jackboots had. I know i'm not the only one. I don't know what to do?! It took this long for me to tell somebody else. My wife and i are scared [crap]less!I'm not sure if they are testing the waters seeing who will comply. Or if it's something else entirely. Why down here? Why not in Commiefornia or one of these other liberal dreamlands? I thougt we were good we just voted to strengthen the 2nd in our state. i just keep saying in my head. WTF?

Your request has been noted and the paperwork entered in the system.
Now we wait for the Weather Kittie's response.

"I read that as "glute-something" and wondered about the fitness programs on the Habitat. I know about cavorting w/the plesiosaurs (are the tilapia bred in the moat? It's nearly impossible to get seafood around here that isn't a product of Asian countries. Thank heaven for pond catfish!)."

The moat was originally designed as part of an exercise program. It is more of a large endless lap pool, with circulating pumps that keep the water going in a circle around the castle. And yes, the tilapia have been breeding in there. Fortunately, the plesiosaurs keep them from overrunning their environment.

Exercise otherwise is a bit of a lost cause, in Habitats that are rotating for artificial gravity at the Mars level of .34 gees.

Our muscles grow weaker, but at least it's easier on old bones and joints.

Climbing has become a popular activity. At these acceleration rates, the athlete feels much stronger.

But the primary physical activity comes from being a member of the canopy repair crews. They're organized into teams, like a sports franchise. Awards and certificates are given for fastest on the scene and quickest repairs, and so forth. The competition is intense and the pace is very physical.

If you don't mind getting a crick in your neck, you can watch them train. They do it every day, right over our heads.

“OMG! What is this mess?!”

This is the project suggested to us by Darksheare!

“Yes, but why is that rug eating the judge, and is that coffee.. dissolvign that cubicle?”

Yes, that is normal, pay it no mind.

I spent the morning with a niece, and learned more than I thought I wanted to know about certain relatives, and realized that I was, most likely, the One Anchor in her life.

That was SUCH an onerus burden...still...she is so much like me (whodathunkit?) that my first impulse is to BE THERE for her!

How can I NOT be? Her mother has abandoned her, and I’m all she has. Can I do this?

...Yes, that is normal, pay it no mind...

My rug is not yet hungry enough to eat my Laz-E-Boy chair. I think it is most likely because the chair is LEATHER!

Go figger.

“How can I NOT be? Her mother has abandoned her, and I’m all she has. Can I do this?”

Only you can answer that question.
My missus thought she could handle me deploying and found the answer was “no, she cannot”.
I cannot advise you one way or the other on this.
But if you can do it, have the means to, and are able to, it is your call.

I found out more about teh missus family last year than I’d cared ot do.
Apparently they have misgivings on acting like actual family.
Hence why I got moved to rear detachment.
Which sucks.
Massively.

The rug is probably relaxing in the chair when you aren’t looking.

LOL, I’m the shakiest man I know!
Comes from being ghostlike I think.
Never really in one place for long.
That feeling of vertigo is probably due to being towed all over by me.

Hi!
I don’t believe that I know your birthday. Jesus loved a good party and I follow in His footsteps in that instance. If you do not care to reveal your birthday because of privacy concerns, I understand completely. However, I would love to be able to celebrate you on your special day! Let’s have a party! (Or not, per your preference.)
Your FRiend no matter what,

Can you move in with her? You have to think of your health first of all, or you can’t help anyone with anything. And you have to think of your financial maintenance, not driving all over creation for other people’s needs and then not having enough money for food for yourself.

You can work on being a help to your niece - with a concrete plan, if it comes to that - but first of all, be a you for you!!!

I never know what’s going on

That has been my position during my entire life. Unfortunately, there are forces operant which besmirch one's reputation and convince other persons that one's behavior is less than reputable. In that situation, one can neither explain nor defend oneself. Ya gotta know when to hold and know when to fold. There are extant influences which are not influenced by the truth. So sad, too bad. Thank you! Tom is extremely competitive, and he’s been studying a lot, behind his slacker pose. Lydia has college visits planned for high-end environmental science programs in the Northwest, so I know she’s working toward a win. And Elen did so well in Science Olympiad that I’m feeling much better about her contribution.

Elen hasn’t, to this point, done well on standardized tests, so it’s hard to tell how much she’s learning. Now I know she’s quite up on Glaciation and Meteorology, and it’s reasonable to suppose she knows a lot of Soil Science. We just have to work on math before she gets to the PSAT!
