Greetings fellow patriots! Houston we have a problem! A big one. I'm located in South Louisina 337. On February 28 a white SUV pulled up to the house with red DHS lettering with Texas plates. (Texas WTH i thought y'all were with us) I saw them pull in the drive an met them outside at their truck 2 agents late 40s-50s. They say Hi we are here doing a survey. One agent pulls out 3 volumes (looked like phone books almost sizewise) He ruffles through the pages in first then second volume. He finds my list (The 1 that they don't have). he says so we are doing a survey and we are going around visiting everyone and trying to verify if you own or still have these firearms. He proceeds to show me my list. Every gun i bought from a dealer is on this list. Every one from 22s to Mosin Nagants and everything in between. I was blown away and still am. Many bricks have been shat since then! I told them nah i don't have any of those dangerous baby killers gave them all away after Newtown. They left but sat parked down the road for a couple hours. Probably coordinating drone strike. I have ony told a couple of close friends i trust. I've been tryng to keep it together. The first person i told also had a visit exactly 2 weeks before me. He ordered a questionable part off the net an that's what the agents told him they were after. He lives 5 minutes down the road. I was freaked then but I didn't think anything of it you know he brought it on himself. Until i got a visit. All my stuff is legal and above board. No worries on that part. But then why did i recieve a visit? I don't know i've been gripped with fear since. Keeping watch on my porch, almost sleeping outside some nights. And then yesterday my wife's friends parents who are an hour north of us got a visit. Only the mom was home and she told them to hit the street. These people are farmers and have guns but mostly Fudd guns and relics passed down. The father was going somewhere on business this weekend and next week. He cancelled. Even the Fudds aren't safe from this. My only solace in all of this is the 3 massive volumes the jackboots had. I know i'm not the only one. I don't know what to do?! It took this long for me to tell somebody else. My wife and i are scared [crap]less!I'm not sure if they are testing the waters seeing who will comply. Or if it's something else entirely. Why down here? Why not in Commiefornia or one of these other liberal dreamlands? I thougt we were good we just voted to strengthen the 2nd in our state. i just keep saying in my head. WTF?

Nor did it have a drinks cooler in the glovebox.

Now that's a nice feature. I don't remember that even in Grandad's BMW, although it did go extremely fast.

That’s appreciated!

My screen is all messed up because Jake jumped on the keyboard.

It is, yes. I am almost as excited about that as I am about having paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
I had to explain that a turbocharged 5 cyl 2.0 liter engine would, naturally, be faster than a regular 2.0 4 cyl in a heavy coupe.
Also it has something called “launch control.” This is something I read about but it was in an article about the Bugatti Veyron.

The old Nissan had a good-sized engine for a mini-sedan, but it wasn’t the sports car your Dad sees in his dreams.

Try not to launch yourself into a major traffic incident. Remember how hard it was just to pay a speeding ticket from Indiana ...

It’s a button you can push and the car speeds itself up as efficiently (fast) as possible from a standing start.
This will be useful if I am, I don’t know, suddenly merging onto the interstate after being stopped on the on-ramp? Not impossible, considering the way people drive around here.

Wellden...Have some pseudo-chikn soup and count your blessings. Chikns are often fatal to some of us.

Are you allergic to potatoes? If not, I have an awesome potato soup recipe I would be glad to share with you...;o]

*choke*

I’m having some serious “auto-envy,” mostly because I grew up driving 454’s and have since had to downgrade...(Government standards, and all that!)

Keep posting as per your automotive escapades. I can “re-live” some events! LOL!

I got your email. Rest some more! I could certainly use it. Oh, rats, Kathleen just fell down again.

I eat low carb. Potatoes are a very small, very rare part of my menu.

I don’t know why they call it “low carb.” It’s actually high fat. Works like a charm. I actually don’t weigh 600 pounds.

No, not allergic to chicken, but to smallpox vaccines. Chickens and eggs is GOOD things! I will wear my Chik-fil-A hoodie (if I can still fit into it) on my flight in.

I LOVE roast chicken! And fried chicken, and chicken salad, and chicken nuggets, and buffalo wings, and...and...(White wine with the roast chicken, please!)

LOL!

You can eat potatoes if they are reds, preferably young. Their texture is more clay-like, so it takes longer to digest them, and therefore, they aren’t the culprits that white potatoes are.

My potato soup recipe uses red potatoes, if you’re interested...

:o]

hehe

I believe a Subaru Forester 2.5 liter turbo can beat a stock 454 from the old days. How things change!

And it has a thing that turns the stereo up and down depending on how fast you are going. Presumably to drown out wind noise?

My favorite “454” was actually bored out to a 547, and when I drove it, it was street legal. (I will have to talk to the owner about the actual specs, but if I’m wrong, I’m still close!)

NHRA RULES!!!! (I love the smell of high octane and burnt rubber in the mornings! Or afternoons...or...)

Rear-end gears and reaction times have a lot of weight, here... ;o]

The reds are lower glycemic, containing more resistant starch than the boilers or bakers, but they’re still not low-carb enough for me.

Also, for some reason, cold boiled potatoes are less glycemic than hot ones. That’s a factoid I read on the Atkins forum when I used to frequent the place.

But thank you anyway for the offer of your recipe. That was very sweet of you, dear friend.
