I believe a Subaru Forester 2.5 liter turbo can beat a stock 454 from the old days. How things change!
My favorite “454” was actually bored out to a 547, and when I drove it, it was street legal. (I will have to talk to the owner about the actual specs, but if I’m wrong, I’m still close!)
NHRA RULES!!!! (I love the smell of high octane and burnt rubber in the mornings! Or afternoons...or...)
Rear-end gears and reaction times have a lot of weight, here... ;o]
Maybe in fuel econ or accel but not for picking up chicks.
