Greetings fellow patriots! Houston we have a problem! A big one. I'm located in South Louisina 337. On February 28 a white SUV pulled up to the house with red DHS lettering with Texas plates. (Texas WTH i thought y'all were with us) I saw them pull in the drive an met them outside at their truck 2 agents late 40s-50s. They say Hi we are here doing a survey. One agent pulls out 3 volumes (looked like phone books almost sizewise) He ruffles through the pages in first then second volume. He finds my list (The 1 that they don't have). he says so we are doing a survey and we are going around visiting everyone and trying to verify if you own or still have these firearms. He proceeds to show me my list. Every gun i bought from a dealer is on this list. Every one from 22s to Mosin Nagants and everything in between. I was blown away and still am. Many bricks have been shat since then! I told them nah i don't have any of those dangerous baby killers gave them all away after Newtown. They left but sat parked down the road for a couple hours. Probably coordinating drone strike. I have ony told a couple of close friends i trust. I've been tryng to keep it together. The first person i told also had a visit exactly 2 weeks before me. He ordered a questionable part off the net an that's what the agents told him they were after. He lives 5 minutes down the road. I was freaked then but I didn't think anything of it you know he brought it on himself. Until i got a visit. All my stuff is legal and above board. No worries on that part. But then why did i recieve a visit? I don't know i've been gripped with fear since. Keeping watch on my porch, almost sleeping outside some nights. And then yesterday my wife's friends parents who are an hour north of us got a visit. Only the mom was home and she told them to hit the street. These people are farmers and have guns but mostly Fudd guns and relics passed down. The father was going somewhere on business this weekend and next week. He cancelled. Even the Fudds aren't safe from this. My only solace in all of this is the 3 massive volumes the jackboots had. I know i'm not the only one. I don't know what to do?! It took this long for me to tell somebody else. My wife and i are scared [crap]less!I'm not sure if they are testing the waters seeing who will comply. Or if it's something else entirely. Why down here? Why not in Commiefornia or one of these other liberal dreamlands? I thougt we were good we just voted to strengthen the 2nd in our state. i just keep saying in my head. WTF?

Once upon a time I had a trio of piranhas named Manny, Moe and One Eyed Jack.

One day One Eyed Jack disappeared.

Manny and Moe had blindsided him.

Thank you. Yes I am seeing spring....59 today and just walked outside...can see the ground in some places. Stellar jays have been in for a month. Blue birds showed up a week ago. Robins are in at lower elevations.

We still have 3 plus feet of snow. The low was 17. We should get more snow this month. Yet for us it has been a real, real mild winter.

"I am not equipped to comprehend human rationale. Silas, is this what love is?" -computer

[long pause] "Yes" -Silas

I have been working on this conundrum. Everyone seems to think that when computers can listen to us and speak to us, they will understand us.

Well, you listen to, and speak to your feet. Do you understand them?

.

The problem is, a computer has no reason to do anything, that has not been programmed into it, or assigned as a task to be performed.

So what needs to happen is that the computer is assigned a task of growing in capabilities, speed, and processing power, so that it can more readily understand and anticipate the needs of its human companions.

This is dangerous. How is such a situation different from the ownership of pets?

I think some Sweet Red Restorative would help me to relax, but it will have to wait until payday, and I will buy a box of it. (Wedensday.)

In lieu of that, I’m going to bed and will read uplifting things to help ease the stress.

Not to worry. As long as I have baby aspirin and Nitro-lingual Spray, I’ll be OK. I even got a blessing at church today, so I’m good for the Trip!

Happy Easter to you also.

On Saturday, the family visited Yokohama Landmark Tower. At 296 meters, it's the tallest building in Japan (Tokyo Sky Tree is way taller at 634 meters, but it is technically considered a "free standing structure" rather than a building, per se).

At the foot of the building is a restored dry dock where ships used to be put up on blocks for maintenance/repair. There are very swank restaraunts and shops under the tower, and it's a great place to spend a lot of money in a short amount of time. Fortunately, window shopping is still free. ;)

For some reason, every time I see Landmark Tower, I think of this guy:

Something that tastes like Hawaiaan punch with a little bit of “whomp” in it (i. e. rum) I thought you made a snow cake! It’s the ideal venue to set a Hawaian punch upon!

The same school of thought...

I have a fear of heights, so I won’t go above 3 floors unless I have no windows to look out of and a staircase nearby.

Thanks for the photos!

I hear ya on the heights thing. Landmark Tower has an observation deck on the 69th floor, but I haven’t yet worked up the gumption to make the ride.

You’re very welcome for the photos, which are just images I browsed around the web for. The shopping mall inside the tower is pretty amazing, and covers five floors. I was introduced to a shop on the first floor on Saturday called Cold Stone Creamery. Biiiig mistake! Cheesecake Fantasy is now one of my all-time favorite treats. Between that place and the Krispy Kreme doughnut shop, I’m going to have to double the length of my daily walk!
