On Saturday, the family visited Yokohama Landmark Tower. At 296 meters, it's the tallest building in Japan (Tokyo Sky Tree is way taller at 634 meters, but it is technically considered a "free standing structure" rather than a building, per se).
At the foot of the building is a restored dry dock where ships used to be put up on blocks for maintenance/repair. There are very swank restaraunts and shops under the tower, and it's a great place to spend a lot of money in a short amount of time. Fortunately, window shopping is still free. ;)

I have a fear of heights, so I won’t go above 3 floors unless I have no windows to look out of and a staircase nearby.
