Thanks!

I finally couldn’t take it any longer and called my son. He said he is fine and that when “they” got home last night, he was “too distracted” to follow up on telling me anything.

*sheesh*

He is at work, but obviously, his truck is totalled. I told him not to even ask to borrow MINE! LOL!

Not sure how I feel about his silence. Unlike him, for sure.

Aurora Waxealis

Wheels of steel in the sky keep on turning.

Man, it was like... I could see the grooves that made up the universe. I could see the universe spinning at 33 1/3 revolutions per minute, but not regular minutes - like, cosmic minutes, man. And the entire physical world was just a giant speaker cone to amplify the song of existence.

Then I heard a rhythm from deep within eternity. Duh-dem. Duh-dem. Duh-dem. The heartbeat of everything. It sounded a lot like record needle at the end of a side. The question is, man: is somebody about to flip us all over? And will any of us be around to hear side two, man?

Did it knock you off? Was told connect lost, at my end, but have seen this message for four times (iirc) recently and it was a lie, and was a hiccup. These hiccups are growing tiresome though. I pray the information posted is helpful for tracking purposes. I may not have any answers to that being helpful though. May be giving away my location. Being a novice is difficult in knowing what to post which may be helpful to finding this problem and correcting it.

That is good to hear. He probably feels pretty upset about the truck. I hope he had good insurance, both for any injuries he may have had treated, and for the truck repairs or replacement. I also hope that he visits you soon so you can see for yourself that he is all right. God bless you both.

How to inescapably imprison your socks on laundry day.

Buy a “sweater bag” in which to wash your “sweaters.” Let the socks know that the bag is for “sweaters.” On laundry day, sneak up on the dirty socks and capture all of them. You may need some backup for this part. Stuff them in the “sweater” bag whilst laughing hysterically at your success and their weeping and lamentation at the loss of their freedom and wayward travels to other dimensions through the washing machine portals. Toss the bag in the wash with whatever you usually put in that load. Dry the load, and then carefully escort the socks to their drawer and lock ‘em up there in neat, folded (or turned in on themselves) pairs.

I haven’t lost a single sock since 1997.

I was so exicted to find this that I ran out at lunch and did some laundry to show my socks who was boss.

Unfortunately, one sweater now is missing a sleeve and the other is missing its waistband.

Apparently, the socks were telling secrets while waiting for the tub to fill.

Well, unnngh, but at least your son is okay! At his age, he should have remembered to send you more information. Of course, I didn’t learn anything about DP’s accident except a text, “We had a collision but we’re still running the race,” until 24 hours afterward, and I was still digging details out of him several days later ...

It was ... a technology problem, that’s it!

He only had liability on the truck, and since he hit the car ahead of him, he will most likely get the ticket. The insurance won’t get him a new truck, but he said he would “part it out,” as he could get more for it.

He said he has been drinking lots of water, and took some ibuprofin right after he got home.

He won’t visit any time soon. They “don’t visit” unless it is beneficial to her.

Thanks for the wishes, though. They mean a lot to me. :o])

Thank you very much for the limited-edition whiskey! Anoreth is fond of a tipple, even more so now that she can have it legally.

Apparently I missed something in not catching up on every post.

I’m glad everyone is healthy. Trucks can be replaced.
