I'm trying to figure out how to patent the idea... I tried troll bait, but it didn't work.
I caught a lot of Democrats and found some good tools, but didn't get any of the missing socks.

The trick is when the socks show up to force them into a drawer or back onto the feet. And the first sentence never works. A problem that I have had though is once back on the feet, the socks tend to disappear again. The socks, in the drawer do sometimes not stay put as well. Thus I have not learned the trick you have of finding ALL of the missing socks. No doubt .. a patent is necessary for your idea. I'll be willing, for the socks sake, to adapt any idea which will save the socks.

I got up the next morning and found ALL of the missing socks. Did you find any fireproof rock socks that aren't very good at macrome?
Those are mine.
I may not want them back, though. I have no idea where they've been.

It would be wonderful to not have any missing socks. I always wonder if they are hanging out with the underwear or something. Those sock do tend to hide well. First place I look is the dirty laundry. Then must go wash hands. I do not mind washing hands, it just makes me get all sudsy on the outside trying to retrieve the socks back inside. Sudsy can be good for the hands though if one does not make it a habit of loosing socks.

Since ya'all are FReepers in good standing, I'll tell you one of the places socks hide...
Inside the clean sheets. Both the flat and fitted. Although, if your socks are cammo, they won't hide in the sheets.
I could tell ya'all the other places socks hide, but then I can't patent my idea.

We had a child who said, “I’m going to put my new socks on.” “Fine,” we said. Eventually, the child turned up with all eight pairs of his new socks on.

What you say is true. The sheets do make for hiding places. Sometimes all the sheets have to be pulled out for inspection. Takes a lot of time. If you have time saving ideas ... those are always helpful. With certain technology in place, as now is, even the worst and best of sock hiders can sometimes be found with an inspection of the sheets. It is an uphill battle but one each of us is improving with time.

The sheets do make for hiding places. Watch out for the carnivorous ones. They not only nip fingers, they also eat us bedbugs.

Just when I thought it might be safe to go back in the kitchen. Should have known the kitchen is never safe. There are sharp pointed things and fire.

There are sharp pointed things and fire. Sharp pointy things on fire generally indicates a local circus has dropped in for tea and crumpets (or, if you're not in Moose's neck of the woods) english muffins and jam. Ask them to deal with the flaming implements of destruction before you feed them and you should be fine.

Am going to disagree mildly ... note how our nation has been doing same and the fire has expanded with more fires popping up at various locals. Know silence is not the route yet complete openness gives sharp pointed things and the fire strength. Difficult balance. Mastery required and whom would want to be known as a master? Those taking on that weight have my respect and my sympathy.

I thought the only important rule was, "Hull down, sails up."
Generally I get that one right.
Not always.

(imho) is okay for the moment. The old adage of no news is good news maybe is the best we can pray for. One problem has anyone looked at the news lately?
