ILION, N.Y. A group of New York state lawmakers says they've been told by Remington Arms that the company plans to spend $20 million upgrading its gun manufacturing plant in the Mohawk Valley.
Local media outlets report that three senators and three Assembly members met with Remington officials on Wednesday to discuss what they could do to ensure the company keeps its plant in the Herkimer County village of Ilion, where Remington employs about 1,200 people.....

I will say this. This 1911R1 is a very nice piece of work. But not enough to keep the Democrat machine in money.
I’ve got a few nice bolts....an 03A3, an 03A variant that appears to be a national match with a Lyman 047 sight group, an 03 and one other that is a mishmash of between war rebuilds that looks like a 1930s vintage.
The other one I like is the Winchester 1917 I have. Barrel dates out at 11/1918.....it is a very nice 30/06 shooter.
