If nothing else, this thread has given me the name of a new punk rock band.

It also reminds me of a restaurant experience when I was a kid. I ordered red snapper, but got some random fish. When I complained that it wasn’t snapper, the waiter said, “It may seem different because most places serve it in the shell.” I may have been 9, but I knew it wasn’t red snapper and that fish of any sort was never served “in the shell.”

I didn't see sea scourge there. That is what most fish is. Remember when Pollock was pet food? it is being sold in fast food.

How does a can get mislabeled in a store? I thought it was all labelled at the factory?

Do they mean that the factory is sending out cans of tuna that mainly contain other fish.

If that is the case, that is fraud, not mislabeling. They are misrepresenting their product, not mislabeling it.

Notable supporters

Actors Ted_Danson"Ted Danson and Sam Waterston are both on Oceana’s board of directors, but a variety of notable celebrities are supporters of the organization. Mad Men actress January Jones is the face of Oceana's "Scared for Sharks" campaign, and Private Practice star Kate Walsh filmed a PSA about sea turtles for Oceana. In 2010, Entourage actor Adrian Grenier swam with Atlantic bluefin tuna and filmed a PSA about the endangered fish. 'Glee' actress Jenna Ushkowitz has also worked closely with Oceana. On her birthday in 2011, she asked for donations to be made towards the organization instead of birthday gifts. Most recently, she teamed up with Closets for Causes and donated several pieces from her personal closet to raise money for the organization

In addition, U.S. swimmer Aaron Peirsol has led an open-water swim event for Oceana since 2007 called “The Race For the Oceans.” Other Oceana supporters include Ben Harper, Morgan Freeman, and End of the Line author Charles Clover.

Board of directors

Ted Danson founded the American Oceans Campaign in 1987.

If you check the labels there are only two or three tunas without soy filler anyway. So your getting oily leakage plus man boobs.

Last time I saw the term “oily anal leakage” was on a bag of “WOW” potato chips. They’re no longer sold.

These days you have to use caution with any food you buy. For sure I’m not going to buy any canned meat product with the words “Product of North Korea” printed on the label.

Dolphin free tuna? Subscribers can hear the “classic” ad
“The Tuna doesn’t taste as good as it used to. Weemsco Tuna is chock full of dolphins as all the other tuna companies have quit using them leaving more for us. Weemsco tuna has that delicious flavor you grew up with. Remember, Weemsco Tuna for the great dolphin flavor you are used to!”
