How does a can get mislabeled in a store? I thought it was all labelled at the factory?

Do they mean that the factory is sending out cans of tuna that mainly contain other fish.

If that is the case, that is fraud, not mislabeling. They are misrepresenting their product, not mislabeling it.

you are correct and in a sane world (ie: a country of laws, not men)... there would be consequences / lawsuits / jail time

i expect payoffs to the dems and a giant shrug by the msm

The excerpt refers to “samples of 1,215 fish”, which implies fresh or frozen fish, not canned.

I think but don’t find it in the report that they are referring to fresh fish not canned. One problem before the retailer gets the product is where did the mislabeling start, st the boat, fish monger, or processor?
