I made it into work today, and so far it has been managable. I fired a couple of shotgun blasts from my balcony in order to scatter the zombies who were loitering near my truck. At a couple of points I had to stop and help drag some corpses to the side of the road in order to get traffic moving again. But once I got to work the power was still on.

Power still on here as well.
Drinking some coffee, before it is all gone.
I heard half the planet is now in darkness.

We are experiencing Snowquestration on a large scale today! We were supposed to get 6 inches, but we only got 4 - a 33% cut in snow thanks to George Bush and every republican ever born.

I thought I saw a zombie this morning, but I was just looking in the mirror. Guess I need a haircut.

Alternatives:
Seacrestation: What Maxine Waters calls it, and I assume is death by too much Ryan Seacrest exposure.
See Castration: What is happening to the GOP in front of our eyes.
See Queer Station: The Gay lobby trying to raise their position in society.

I had to switch to 4WD to get over the decomposing corpses of furloughed federal employees this morning, but other than the stench, no problems.
Rumors of cannibalism are, it appears, mostly exaggerated. Just for my own peace of mind, I’m not going to ask the Mrs. about what’s in tonight’s casserole, though.

I heard that Charles Manson and his Family have been released because the government can no longer afford to keep them in prison. Reportedly, they were driven to a local hardware store and released.

Here in New York somehow the sun managed to rise without federal help. I noticed some green shoots coming up without the Department of Agriculture. I dont have direct knowledge so I may be wrong but I heard some kid learned something today without the Department of Education. I was sort of hoping the IRS would shut down and I wouldnt have to report what my fair share is this year. I did see a bunch of people lined up at the Board of Elections in prison blues registering to vote.
