Why is a Finnish firm designing the “Titanic?” Wasn’t it designed once, already?

Oops, that last pic of the tipped over Costa Concordia doesn’t bode well.

Does the new Titanic come complete with a huge gash in the side?

The ship is being designed by Finnish company Deltamarin, and will be built by Chinese state-owned CSC Jinling Shipyard, Reuters reported.

Guess the Lee Key Shipyards was outbid.

Sounds like a prelude to a James Bond jewelry heist.

“An Australian Billionaire Is Building A Nearly Exact Replica Of The Titanic”

geez, I hope it’s not exactly like the original

i.e. more life boats!

The modern enclosed lifeboats in open wells along the sides of the hull are a tad bit different than the clinker hull lifeboats carried on the original ship. Those are of course represented by props up on level of the original boat deck, which are too far above the waterline to meet current regulations.

Actually I’m kind of interesting to see how liberals react to this. The nazis made a propaganda film about the Titanic with the evil bankers being the cause of the sinking.
