When did I say it's been all hunky dory? What I said, is that I haven't seen FR fail to handle a live thread in the last few years, except for maybe one time when it choked.
Heck, I've seen all the outages and break downs too. I've been on here every day, since about 2005. I just haven't seen what you claim. One would have to be an occasional visitor to not have noticed that the site's been needing a hardware upgrade for a long time now.
Thankfully, JohnRob has finally done that, and will soon be doing more.
All I've claimed is: I've been unable to participate in a LIVE THREAD here in a LONG time... it's just been TOO SLOW, I give up...
Election night was a good example.. they HAD one... I didn't play in it very long.
