A need for prayers...
Yes Towanda has been MIA...it would be fun if she lurked and found out she was still getting pings. 8D
Two Thirds and I have not bumped into each other for quite awhile. I hope he is doing well. Always admired his bicycling stories.

Maybe in a year or so after I retire and I am driving across country I will stop in Colorado and drink a cup of coffee on that deck on the back of Two Thirds house. We have talked about doing that for fifteen years.
Now that would be sweet!
I prayed for FrogMom. I’ll keep her close in prayer for a few days.
God bless her and her family and everyone who comes in contact with her.
Thank you SaraJohnson. I know she appreciates it.
Still praying for you FrogMom.
THANK YOU for the update.
:-D
Hey there, KC!!
Good to see you too! All is well here. Been doing lots of projects, and my Darlin’ has increased computer time, so not as much FReep time available! But it all works out.
One of these days, we really will fire up the other computer!
This last year or so hasn’t been my time with the most opportunity to follow the site either.
As usual, I have to trust that amom (who knows everyone) will keep me appraised of important issues. (How does she do that?)
Speaking of IMPORTANT issues, FrogMom and her husband were such gracious hosts to me on a visit to their area a few years back. My youngest was stationed down there and I was dropping by to see him as well as to access some construction in the area. We had a great time meeting each other after the previous decade of fellowship on the site.
FogMom should know that I have wonderful confidence in her and her whole family being able to give this rehab challenge a top-drawer effort. I certainly don’t underestimate that this is a big big challenge, but I know what my 90 year old father achieved and I know the good people in the rehab efforts at medical facilities.
We are pulling for you FrogMom!
Hello all - Please bear with me if I am doing this wrong. This is Beth, moms youngest daughter. I just spent a great part of the day with Mom and wanted to give you all an update on her progress. Let me tell you, Mom is one heck of a lady! She is working very hard during her therapy sessions and is improving constantly. She has spent a lot of time walking back and forth on the parallel bars, doing a variety of hand and arm exercises, and is looking and feeling great! Of course she is still frustrated her right hand isn’t working like she wants it to, but it is getting better. We have started (at her request) letting her go solo at night, no troubles there, she is sleeping well. I guess that is all I have at this time, will try to send you guys an update in a couple of days, unless she beats me to it.
Thank you all so very much for the prayer support, it means a great deal to Mom and our entire family. God bless the lot of you.
I miss a lot at FR now so I consider myself blessed to have seen this. Will keep you in my prayers as you recover. Never give up!
Thank you God for being with Frogmom during her time of need and pleas bring her comfort. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Wow!
Another great update at #110 !!!!!!!
Our pal is pounding out that rehab work.
Thanks so much Beth. Tell your mom that the rehab for rotator cuff surgery is six weeks so tell her to work hard but remember it takes time for those new pathways to get permanent in her nerve memory.
Tell her another sixty posts have been added and we “have her back.”
Good update at 110
Good evening there Burke! You beat me here tonight.
Great news indeed at post 110...thank you Beth for keeping us posted.
Time for a dose of humor.
Having just moved into his new office, a pompous, new colonel was sitting at his desk when an airman knocked on the door.
Conscious of his new position, the colonel quickly picked up the phone, told the airman to enter, then said into the phone, “Yes, General, I’ll be seeing him this afternoon and I’ll pass along your message. In the meantime, thank you for your good wishes, sir.”
Feeling as though he had sufficiently impressed the young enlisted man, he asked, “What do you want?”
“Nothing important, sir,” the airman replied, “I’m just here to hook up your telephone.”
You are surely keeping our hearts lightly laden as we cheer on our buddy. LOL
And one more (special for FrogDad).
Two men were boasting to each other about their old army days.
“Why, my outfit was so well drilled,” declared one, “that when they presented arms all you could hear was slap, slap, click.”
“Very good,” conceded the other, “but when my company presented arms you’d just hear slap, slap, jingle.”
“What was the jingle?” asked the first. “Oh,” replied the other offhand, “just our medals.”
Logan’s Prayer Warriors! A WONDERFUL praise report in #110!
Thank you Beth for updating the thread, and thanks to KC Burke for pinging me. I LOVE reading this!!
Thank you Lord...
How very nice that you and FrogMom and family were able to meet in person and spend some time together. Special times...
