tawdry low information Rush has been married how many times.?
That ship sailed on out of port with me on it and I hit 50 a couple years ago, and I said to myself, that’s that. In fact I celebrated it by buying a small cruising sailboat and moving aboard. Figure if I don’t fit in the traditional life, might as well spend the second half doing whatever I want til God rings the bell.

This advice always amuses me. It implies American women are somehow NOT out to scam a man for his wallet. LOL
While women may choose, society creates a world where excitement and sex trump good decisions. Tattooed bad boys are desirable and boring guys with jobs are ignored.
It’s not universal, but there are plenty of women who get seduced by the idea of the bad boy and end up hurt or bitter.

It’s not just rural areas - I live in St. Louis and have just as much trouble finding a conservative Christian girl who actually lives out her faith.
I’m 34 and was mature enough to be married a long time ago. Honestly, although I’m on the short side, I consider myself a good catch - I am a dedicated family man, and I would be a devoted husband and father.
It actually hurts worse to see the available women here cursing, getting drunk, being loose...such a waste of a life.
Amen to that. After the gazillionth eHarmony profile of single, college-educated liberal women (ususlly teachers) who insisted on their match being either “socially conscious” or liberal like themselves I gave up (and at 43, that tends to be a pretty permanent proposition). I’ve decided to just “own” my status and aspire toward becoming the best I can be at what I do for a living and hopefully attaining a comfortable retirement.
Am I a “man’s man?” Goodness no; I’m part nerd, part 2A supporter, and part libertarian (small-”L” for the moment, at least). That doesn’t mean I’m at all interested in all the matches who thought that I should open up to the concepts of “social consciousness”, “the right to be ‘dramatic’” for no logical reason, or the “practicality of man-purses” (I kid you not!!!)
Long story short, you’re right—the online matching systems are somewhat of a joke; the signal-to-noise ratio is terrible and I’ve been forced to conclude that there are often good reasons why a certain subset of people on those sites are single.
Perhaps myself included. I’ll be the first to admit that calling me skittish is an understatement—for whatever reason I’ve turned into caution incarnate. Not that I enjoy it—but I might as well own it rather than sulk about it.
First whore of an ex-wife was cheating on me catching all kinds of venereal diseases, maxing out $30K in credit card debt, and forging a General Power of Attorney to buy a car.....I was graciously bleeding out on a roof top in Al-Fallujah.
After getting out of that nonsense putting the car payment anchor around her neck while I paid off the credit card debt. I decided to have faith and keep looking for love.
Second ex-wife decided to call my command and falsely accuse me of adultery; thought it would keep them from deploying me (luckily the command knew she was crazy). Then she decided to double dose anti-depressants while drinking and threatened to kill herself....with our kids in the next room. Of course the judge decided it was in the children's best interest to "rehabilitate the mother" (it actually says that in the decree as he thought she deserved a second third forth chance) and grant her custody....it literally lists out her BS, annotates my "occupation" had taken me away from time to time, and in "an effort to rehabilitate the mother," awards her primary custodianship.
Should i be stupid enough to pursue a third marriage - I'm getting a pre-nup, or a different girl. I'm hoping to find an Arab chick I can introduce to Jesus, bacon, and beer. They're subservient, loyal, and gorgeous; grateful to find a man that won't beat the snot out of them, and actually appreciate a breadwinner that holds doors and pulls out chairs.
And, most of them don't have their faces buried in an iPhone on facebook 23 hours and 45 minutes a day posting about how fast the world revolves around them.
BTW, my ex-wives were both "Christians" from "good homes."
No offense to the FReepers and their daughters, but most 30 and under women in the states are a wretched lot.

Where does this nutty idea keep coming from that men are seeking such women? I keep hearing that men want foreign women because they crave a meek, subservient, obedient slave that can be locked in a cage when we leave for work.
That is radfem propaganda. They just want a normal woman like they used to be here. Oh, and it would be kinda cool not to be looked at with slow burning scorn.
Personally, i just want to be treated like a dog for once. I want a chick who will treat me EXACTLY like i’m her dog. Scratch me behind the ears and tell me how good i am for doing something right. Talk to me in a musical, loving voice, (like you would for your dog)
If i do something wrong, scold me once and then freakin’ let it go. And please, no scolding for old transgressions. I will not be able to understand and will simply think you are mean and scary.
And like all dogs, i’ll ve totally loyal. Just give me a treat every day. Yeahhh, you know the one i mean.

For the last couple of years she's been inviting me to come live with them on their land, perhaps build a small cabin there. Herself and another old friend, another gal (we used to all belong to the same tightly knit church) and myself now have shared fantasy of one or all of us coming into enough money to buy land in Northern California, or similar, far from the big cities, and share & share a-like together.
You might like these two. Both stong in their faith, one of them redhaired such as yourself, the other almost. Practical sorts, honest, patient, positive, and with good senses of humor. Myself, I'm as a slighty younger brother to both of them, and not always so positive as they usually are.

I was fortunate to catch mine 45 years ago. She passed away in January and I'm devastated. She was my partner and best friend. I was a very lucky man.

Yes, luv, but you must admit there are not many like you. Especially considering your bio you might consider that the prevalence of good women is what is longed for by us members of the heterosexual male types, not their relative scarcity. Which is what it all boils down to in the end.
