I was thinking he should do ... ka ka ka ka ka katmandu
Wait til The Who week. He will do “ My generation”!
Time to wheel out Stevie Wonder again.
How right you were. At least 3 have done him tonight.
Mags rule 1: White chicks can NOT do MOTOWN (neither can stuttering Cubans!)
We whites can feel vindicated this year. Idol made it Chicago night, so those without melanin could do Madonna.
They go out of their way to make sure we know he’s a “Christian” (at least HBO’s idea of what a Christian is), so of course he has to be a murdering psychopath adulterer.
Exactly. I do hate that in movies and shows. The perennial Evil Christian. No one is a decent person on that show except Richard.
I am glued to the TV while an episode is on, but there is so much depravity and no redeeming characters. Is the writing, editing, direction, acting excellent? Yes, very much so. But even in season 3, most of the characters are still just evil.
I also like the rothstein guy. He is excellent. Also the chalkie guy.
Smokys face is pulled tighter and looks more waxy than his image at Madame Tousads wax museum!
Why are Randy’s bottom teeth pink? And no, it’s not just his tongue. The teeth seem actually pink.
My take on tonight:
Candace - was wonderful. Honest, great voice, she did change it and make it her own, and she was having fun. She made me happy.
R-r-r-r-Ricky Ricardo - pitchy, dawg. It may have been one of his best performances. Which isn’t saying much. He is a cute little Ricky, but he’s bottom 3. Bottom 1.
Country blondie - she was perfect. She came up with that arrangement when she was 14? Amazing. Great voice, great song choice, fantastic version.
Bristles - he sang pretty well. Liked it.
Burned-in Eyebrows Taylor - as Simon would say, “Utterly forgettable.” Whiny. Stevie Wonder rolled over in his bed.
Angie Osmond - ugh. Hated it. The song is supposed to be sung in a rueful mood. It’s a many times burned older person telling a young in love fool to hold on. It’s not a song where you smile incessantly and strut your stuff. Her voice is fine but she was so fake and so showy and not genuine tonight. Her hair bugs the crap out of me. It’s like a curly mullet. Or like a full head of hair with one of Michelle Obama’s old wigs on top of it. Ad the teeth: they jut out like the grill on a Buick la Salle.
Amber - ok, I confess to having been a huge Stevie fan. And I love the song she chose. I love the way she sung it, too. She didnt ruin it and that means something.
Kree - I wasn’t really listening. Rewound again. Still forgot to listen. Does that say anything? I guess she wasn’t very exciting. Normally I like her.
I think it’s time for Ricky to say (you know this is coming) “Th th th that’s All, folks!”
Mariah gets paid per spoken word.
She could have outfilibustered Rand Paul with ease.....
Rofl!
or E: deliver a gallon of milk
I can’t stop laughing
OK, henceforth, Bernell shakll be called.......My Shermy
Shermell!
Randys pretending to Tweet. His phones not even on. LOL!
Why do three guys need backup singers?
To cover up the suck.
She was formerly married to Tom Cruise....anything ‘s possible..
However, Lazaro is still America's fave..and he'l be safe...Bottom 3 will be Angie (gasp),Burnell, and Devin..one of the guys goes..I think Devin..come on..if America votes off the black dude on Motown night..it means we're a racist nation..
IIRC..Kelly Clarkson sang “You Lied” on season 1..can anyone dig up a clip..compare it to Kree?
Ha!
There something going on ... Mariah usually sits there like she's got front row seats at a funeral. But last night it was like she just wandered away from a bachelorette party.
She gets stronger and stronger, more than I thought she would be.
If you havent seen it watch the Runaways . Van Alden. Plays the bands
Manager very well.
Holy poopies!! Serious?? Van Alden played Kim Fowley?!?! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ! (I went to school with Joan Jett and had the pleasure of knowing the perv Kim Fowley)
Yes, check him out. He’s creppy, but does it well.
When I initially saw him in Boardwalk, it took quite awhile to transistion from that character to Van Alden.
P.S. How much for an autograph, since you rubbed shoulders with Stars :) ;)
