Very nice! I’m not a cat fanatic but I would like to have one, except that I travel a lot and it’s hard to make arrangements for kitty. It’s nice to see how this entrepreneurial Japanese cat lady has managed to find a niche. (Beautiful cats, too...does she audition them?)

I saw that a LOT of the cats featured in her cafe were Maine Coons, and very nice specimens they were, too. They are known for their gentle and loving nature, as well as their gigantic size and beautiful luxuriant coat. GOOOOOO Coons!

(Guess what kind of cat I have...)

My wife now has five.

Want one?

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

True story. When my family lived in Japan, my daughter wanted a cat in the worst way, but it was forbidden where we lived. A friend told her about a cat that lived in a local park. Nobody owned it, but all the cat lovers in the neighborhood looked after it and brought it food. One even took care of its shots. I didn't believe my daughter until she took me to the park one day. She called the cat and it came running to her. Very nice tempered feline. It lived under the tool shed in the park by night and interacted with the public by day.

Fast forward to today and she married a young man who also loves cats. They recently adopted one for my grandson, age 22 months. Who allows him to play pretty rough without any retaliation except walking away when it gets to be too much.

Most of the time, they are the best of pals.
