Collier County deputies arrested a man who allegedly beat and threw oranges at his girlfriend after they had an argument over her singing karaoke.
Deputies were dispatched to a neighborhood on Turtle Creek Drive around 2:00 a.m. after neighbors reported a woman was frantically knocking on doors with her infant saying she had been beaten by her boyfriend.

Some of those Asian guys can be tough. A few year ago I was at the police station filling out some forms (that’s another story) and in the next room was an Asian guy who had badly beaten his girlfriend. He claimed to not understand English but when the po-po left the room he understood and spoke English very well.
