I found some cheap liability insurance online, so Mr. Bill the Beastie is insured as of midnight. Monday, I will take it for the smog test at the local Jiffy Lube, and Tuesday or Wednesday I will get it registered.
It looks like my personalized plates will have to wait a month...at least they are cheaper than the last time I checked!
So. Slowly but surely, I’m making headway. I will have to wait to get the Bluetooth, though. If anyone calls while I’m driving, they will have to wait until I find a parking spot to answer. Pulling off the road is not a legal option.

No word on the baby shower, butohwell. I bought some little cotton mitts so she doesn’t scratch her little face, and a pair of pink lace-trimmed sox with a little ping headband bow. It’s the best I can do until I get the other stuff made.
