OK, the young lady left the horsepital on Saturday and is safely ensconced in her home. Mother is finally getting some much needed sleep. The youngster is still working up her strength and they still don't know what happened, but unless something new pops up on the radar, we can thank God for the good report as I thank you all for your prayers.

We had a diaper disaster this morning, and things are not really looking up subsequently. I think Bill finally arose, which is something, but there is much disarray and discombobulation.

During my dental work for removal of wisdom teeth, the anesthesiologist looked at my eyes, asked me a question and then in a very surprised voice said “He’s lucid!”
That was more or less after she’d already had me “mainline” the entire contents of the 20cc syringe of goo.
Said goo supposedly puts most people out quickly from a normal dose, which I shrugged off like it was nothing.
So there I am quite lucid, but no pain thankfully, and very interested in what the dentist is doing and the nosey anesthesiologist notices that I am paying too much attention.
*sigh*
She cranked the air nitro mix to a little less air and a little more of the nitro and that made me a little loopy.

It was a long time ago for me.

I vaguely remember remembering that I had a face. I don't remember much else until that afternoon when I was loopy from the pain meds and my dad wanted me to go out and meet with a guy I was trying to sell my motorcycle to.

I sold the bike, but I have not idea whether I lied to him or not.

Sorry - I meant the device manager. When you open it, devices that aren't working properly have one of those yellow triangles next to it.

There's a chance you have a 64-bit computer and a 32-bit device. That's what happened to me first go-around. There's nothing for that except to get a replacement device.

They never listen when you warn them about resistance to anesthetic, until it's too late.

I didn’t fall asleep until I got out to teh car.
The missus says, “You’re too awake.”
And I muttered “Yeah, so? Watch this.” and laid down in the backseat.
I was out quickly, finally.

I think you could get the Palm to sync by Cable if you didn't have a 64-bit computer, which is why I guessed what I guessed.

Warning, make double-danged-sure the vendor knows what they're doing. I ordered one that was specifically advertised as 64-bit and they shipped the wrong one. They replaced it quickly enough, but it was a pain to keep waiting.
