When it comes to the poisonous snakes, respect equals a rather healthy fear of them and their areas of abode.
People have had the things get nosy and slther into houses.
Curiosity satisfied, they tend to leave on their own.
Unless they like the place.

Yeah.
Mom’s got the even more ancient TRS-80 boxed up in the original packaging in her garage. I think the ROMs are blown. I once ran across the TRS-DOS O/S as a downloadable binary that one could use to burn EEPROMS to replace the original PROM chips, but...time’s the constraint, as usual.
It’d be cool to get that thing back “up” again & show the domestic yutes what “technology” was like when I was their age.
Might even be able to load some files and play a game or two.

Your keyboard has a £ key on it?!
£450000 for a turnip is a bit excessive.
In Elizabeth's time they where considered to be cattle food.

Good to see you. Thanks for checking in. I’m getting even weirder. Perhaps I need to try a few new recipes something. Neighbor’s adult daughter is staying overnight with him so we don’t have to feed the horse, etc., in the AM. Didn’t see Mr. Quackers the Duck this morning but they’re not too worried about him. Had a connectivity issue yesterday and today, and tech seems to think he has resolved the issue. Anyway, stay safe, y’all!

Drats.
The ‘trash 80’ was one of the first computers I messed with.
Two tone screen, green and black.

Your keyboard has a £ key on it?!No, but I know the HTML code for the glyph along with a few others like these: ¢ ø ® ™ and ¿.
Here is a decent list.

Well, dang. You LOLOL’d and the post you replied to was zotted. Was that because it referenced Microsquish? Are we not allowed to poke fun at Microsquish here on FR?

WHY TAKE THE RISK OF BECOMING A THIEF WHEN YOU CAN JUST GET YOURSELF ELECTED TO CONGRESS AND HAVE THE SAME IMPACT WITHOUT THE DANGER????
So sorry, I talked to my accountant about my 2012 taxes tonight.
I'll behave tomorrow, I promise.

Any time! The series is pushing a dozen, if not already there, and they’re all very enjoyable. My favorite character is the secretary, Grace, with her highest-ever score from the Botswana Secretarial College.
Storm is here, but it’s not threatening right now ... rain and occasional gusts. We’re off to bed, killer day planned for tomorrow.

Weren't 1936 and 1938 the Farside cartoons? Maybe there's a restriction..

THE FIVE RULES TO REMEMBER
1. Money cannot buy happiness, but it’s more comfortable to cry in a Ferrari Enzo than a Ford Escort.
2. Forgive your enemy, but remember the jerks name.
3. If you help someone when they’re in trouble, they will remember you when they’re in trouble again.
4. Many people are alive only because it’s illegal to shoot them.
5. Alcohol does not solve any problems, but then neither does milk.
