I never cheer for the IRS.I'm with you. The idea of cheering on the destruction of a young woman's life by our federal govt., regardless of what one might think of her lifestyle, is completely anathema to me.

I’m certainly not going to cheer for or gloat over the way this young woman has self-destructed. I may not approve of her choices, but I hope she turns her life around.

Her mistake here was to switch “endorsements” to Romney. She’ll be sent straight to prison now, and hardly anyone will care or pay attention.

That’s why I believe in resurrection. If you owed the IRS money and you died, they’d bring you back to make you pay it.

It’s not the IRS - it’s Congress, maybe her CPA, and for sure Lohan who made this mess.
I don’t have IRS problems for a good reason - I pay my taxes and plan for it as needed.

The writer sounds like an envious prick. What makes him so happy about a young woman having problems with the IRS? I'm not a fan of hers but I don't think it's right to take pleasure in another persons pain.

Neither do any of us.
But this is world-class serious stuff....and perhaps a federal rap might be the one thing that could happen to her that could wake her up.
If this doesn't faze her, probably nothing will.

Roger that. My ex-wife and I hated each other (viscerally), but when it came to the IRS we did whatever was legal and necessary to reduce the take. Adversaries will unite in the face of a common enemy.

Yeah. Not much here to cheer about. She may be a wreck, but she has a right to her earnings.
