I went 10-6 last week straight up, and 12-3-1 against the spread.
*Sunday, December 2*
Indianapolis 7-4 at Detroit 4-7 - 1:00 p.m. (Line: DETROIT by 4.5)
The outcome of this game doesn't really matter much to me, as a Lions fan. They ain't making the playoffs this year. But I am interested to see how many times Ndamukong Suh "accidentally" kicks Colts QB Andrew Luck in the nuts.
---RJ's Pick: Lions by 8
Jacksonville 2-9 at Buffalo 4-7 - 1:00 p.m. (Line: BUFFALO by 6)
A crappy warm weather team going to play in a cold weather city in December = The Jaguars are gonna have a bad time.
---RJ's Pick: Bills by 11

have yet to use atl, chi, pt, sf as winner
have yet to use cin, cle, jax, nyj, wa as loser
Saw my first Lions’ game in 1958. It’s actually sort of famous in Lions’ history...Lions v Colts...Johnny U was Colts’ rookie QB...he led them to a 21-0 halftime lead...Bobby Layne...probably helped (by a later, retired player account) by a pint of whiskey...led the Lions to storm back in the second half and win.
I was ten. What I mostly remember was the crowd of very tall men around me jumping up and blocking my view when something good happened.
Last great season Lions had. Since Ford bought them in ‘63, it has been nothing but darkness.
Live outstate now...almost everyone I know follows the Packers or Bears.
Unitas was a rookie in 1948 for the Steelers. They cut him, said he was “too dumb” to play quarterback.
Jason Garrett probably should have used his free time last Sunday to update his resume. Unless the Cowboys have a fantastic December, Garrett may be job-hunting soon.

It is kind of ironic that former Dallas coach Wade Phillips’s Texans are having a banner year.
Somehow I think RJ blew the Monday night game call between the Skins and Giants. Giants big over the RG III fallacy.
Go Browns!
season-changing victory by Seahawks, combined with MN loss and TB likely loss.
They end the season hosting STL, but they are in driver’s seat for wildcard.
Who can threaten CIN/PITT for wildcard? SD, NYJ have best conf records of 7-loss teams.
I am 10-4 with 2 games remaining.
My pick for THUR is DEN over OAK
next week,
sea is 10.5 pts home fav over Zona
SFr is 10.5 pts home fav over Dolfins
I still give DAL a chance to get a wildcard. Easier schedule.
DAL lost head-to-head to SEA. they are in bad shape 1 game behind SEA for WC.
Buffalo has best shot at CIN/PIT. Easier schedule and lead the tiebreaker vs. both CIN & PIT due to better conf record when finishing 9-7. Maybe a 6-6 conf record will do it. Or at least tie CIN-PIT winner, putting it into common games. TB and SEA will also likely go to common games.
DAL won’t win another game this year, they’ve got Pitt, Cinn, NO and Washington, they should be underdogs in all of those games.
Everyone knows that Wade is a top-notch defensive coordinator, he’s just a poor head coach.
Seattle will be VERY dangerous if they make the playoffs, the other teams better hope they don’t make it.
I'd say 1991 was a fairly good year....seeing all the sad Cowboy fans here after 38-6, was pretty fun.
I was so happy today for Charlie Batch, wish the Lions would have given him more of a shot when he was there.
Giants aint winnin’ that division. Very poor division record due to loss to PHIL.
Giants do have a tiebreaker lead over SEA due to better conference record. And Wildcard looks like could happen, over SEA.
I ended the week 11-5. My lucky streak is gone. So glad I don’t have the gambler’s gene.
