Baylor beating Kansas State 28-14; A&M beat Alabama last week when they were ranked #1. Go Bears, Gig'em Aggies.
We can multitask here. ;)
You think Chizik is safe? Looks like at least Auburn is recruiting well. Lot of new coaches in the SEC next year, between Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas, at least.
Ha ha at least the majority can...
Johnny Football winning the Heisman as a red shirt freshman would be amazing.
They beat the team that just beat Oregon.
Damn!!!! My Ducks just lost!!!!...... ARGH!!!!!!!!!
Agree every Saturday in the fall since I can remember I have watched ..Sunday not so much
My fear if they expand the playoffs is that it will be like college basketball, who really cares about college basketball until the tournament, you pretty much know all of the big names will be there.
But with college football, one week can change everything, like tonight.
Heck no....its is the 1980 season again. Georgia vs ND for the National Championship.
So does anyone still think Oregon would have scored 40+ on Bama.......BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Damn Lindsay Scott!
That was a miracle. I remember Larry Munson breaking his chair and saying, "I gave up....and you did too".
What made that day all the more sweeter for Ga. fans, is that ND was #1 and was tied by a woeful Ga. Tech team.
I mean you can't beat that....you're hated rival helps you out and still doesn't get the win!
Id much rather argue about who should have been in the Championship game than change to a basketball style playoff. I think the BSC while not perfect is about right..
It was an amazing turnaround for a Gator team that went winless the previous year, winning that game would have been huge.
As a Baylor Grad,
Please,
as a courtesy to real colleges,
never,
and I do mean Never,
say Sic ‘em and the vulgar gig em in the same sentence.
aggies are the only school who has to deride another better school in their fight song.
For those of you not from Texas, it is like mentioning Reagan an Marx as equals.
The memory of Lindsay’s run is about the only thing that kept me warm during Spurrier and Meyer.
I think it should be a whale of a game in Atlanta.
I do too.
A&M (and LSU) showed that Bama is human and Georgia seemed to find its defense in the (sorry ‘bout that) Florida game.
This is the most talented non-Herschel Georgia team I can remember. (and I remember Fran Tarkington in the Orange Bowl)
So its looking like a Notre Dame - Alabama (just like 1973) or a Notre Dame - Georgia (just like 1980) game. Somewhere Beano Cook is smiling.
My Ducks too, I feel your pain.
NNNNGGGHH!
It is all sorta upside down now.
