How can resigning give them the right to be excused from testifying? This country really is dead when common thugs are elevated above hard working Americans. I would truly love to see our next presidential candidate come from outside politics.

I think the pending testimony of Petraeus and other witnesses in the Benghazi hearing is “voluntary.” If Petraeus declines to testify the committee simply subpoenas him and compels him to appear.
